Spatialization is the process of anti performance of social and economic data distribution in a certain time and geographic space by using statistical data and suitable parameters and model methods. The essence of the process is to create a continuous statistical data surface within a regional range. The spatially generated statistical data conform to their spatial distribution rules and facilitate the establishment of a unified geographic information database. The spatial and temporal precision of traditional spatial method is limited. There are many problems such as disagreement of data structure, mismatch of space unit and homogenization of data in space unit, which seriously restrict the practical application of social and economic data in the work of regional economic development planning, environmental protection, urban and rural construction and policy making.Regional economic disparity is an important factor that affects the coordinated and sustainable development of society. With the rapid development of China's economy, the economic development level of East, middle and western regions is not only expanding, but also there are great differences in the inter provincial or even county and urban areas. The the Yellow River River Basin, which straddles the three eastern, central and western regions of China, has played an important overall and strategic role in China's economic development. The research on regional differences is mainly focused on the differences between the provincial and County cities throughout the country, while the research on the economic aspects of the basin is focused on the economic development at the core of resource exploitation and utilization, and less attention ispaid to the regional economic differences in the underdeveloped basins. This paper, taking the the Yellow River basin as the research object, discusses the change characteristics of regional economic differences from the perspective of space, and aims to provide countermeasures and suggestions for the coordinated development of regional economy in the Yellow River basin.Based on GIS theory and technology, the spatial distribution characteristics of statistical population data and GDP data of 2005 and 2010 in 2000,2005,2010 and 2015 are analyzed by multi source data fusion processing. The spatial distribution law of human elements in the basin is expressed.Based on the quantitative analysis of high precision of population and economy, the characteristics of regional economic development variation in the Yellow River basin are revealed, which is of great practical significance. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)the population spatialization model based on land use data is better than the night light data. The former is more suitable for the county urban simulation in the middle of the population, the latter is better in the town edge of the town with the larger population density gradient, and the cause of the error is: first, the limitation of the data source of the night light data itself and the reason for the error. The light supersaturation can not accurately simulate the denser areas of the population;two is the particularity of the the Yellow River basin research area.According to the land use data,it is known that most of the basin is located in the central and western regions of China. The terrain is undulating and the settlements are scattered, which will also cause a certain precision loss.(2)this study combines night lighting data and land use data modeling to estimate GDP density, which can effectively reflect the distribution of economic activities in the whole region, and the spatialization can show the gradual change process from the city to the rural GDP,with more detailed information. On the basis of land use data, the night lighting data is introduced to the modeling of the second industry and the third industry. On the one hand,it avoids the same GDP density on the same land use type.On the other hand,it can reduce the error and improve the accuracy of the model. The results of GDP spatialization can fully reflect the present situation of GDP macro distribution in the Yellow River basin.(3)the quantitative analysis of the the Yellow River River Basin Economic Difference Based on grid data(1 km × 1 km)shows that the the Yellow River basin has a certain spatial diffusion effect and centrifugal effect.Population and GDP density region can drive the population growth and economic development in the neighboring areas, and the economic development level of the the Yellow River basin is no matter the level of economic development.Absolute difference or relative difference showed an enlarged trend. The middle and lower reaches of the basin are economically developed, while the upper reaches of the western region are backward in economy, and the differentiation between the rich and the poor tends to be serious, and the unbalanced economic development of the whole basin is gradually expanding. To sum up,this study has carried out the spatial modeling of the major socioeconomic data population and GDP in large scale watershed with large geographical environment and different social and economic development speed, and introduced a new generation of NPP/VIIRS night light data and DMSP/OLS night light data to compare the spatial accuracy, and then through the spatialization. The spatial autocorrelation coefficient of the watershed is compared with that of the county units, revealing the difference of regional economic development in the the Yellow RiverRiver Basin. This study provides a scientific basis for the production and application of population and GDP spatial data, and provides a reference for other types of socioeconomic data Spatialization in the future.
