Research On The Development Of High-end Equipment Manufacturing In Xi'an

The development of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry is very significant to the improvement of our country's comprehensive national strength.The development of regional economy and industrial competitiveness need industrial agglomeration.Xi'an is to build our country's important high-end equipment manufacturing base,can not do without the development of industrial agglomeration.Through the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry agglomeration,it not only can enhance the competitiveness of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an,but also cater to the country's strategic planning.This article aims to study the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an from the perspective of industrial agglomeration.The research method of this paper is the combination of qualitative and quantitative,normative and empirical.Firstly,this paper summarizes the situation of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an,evaluates this situation by using factor analysis model,and analyzes the main problems in the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an by using SWOT model.Furthermore,using the location entropy and spatial agglomeration index is to describe the level of agglomeration of high-end equipment manufacturing in Xi'an in time and space.Then,using the panel data model conducts an empirical research on the influencing factors of high-end equipment manufacturing industry agglomeration in Xi'an.Finally,based on the above research,the paper sets suggestions to promote the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an.The research indicates that although the high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an has some geographical advantages,but it has some problems such as low innovation ability,weak industrial competitiveness and insufficient development potential.The high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an has a certain degree of agglomeration advantages,but the overall agglomeration degree shows a downward trend.The high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an mainly concentrated in Weiyang District,Chang'an District,Gaoling District and Yanliang District,followed by Yanta District and Lintong District.Industrial linkage,market demand,transportation costs,economies of scale and government support play a significant role in the industrial agglomeration of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an,but innovation,employment density and openness do not play a significant role.This article is divided into seven parts:The first chapter is the introduction;The second chapter is the overview of related theories;The third chapter is the development status of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an;The fourth chapter is Xi'an high-end equipment manufacturing industry concentration measurement;Chapter V,Empirical study on influencing factors of agglomeration of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in Xi'an;Chapter VI,Countermeasures and suggestions on the development of high-end equipment manufacturing in Xi'an;Chapter VII,conclusion and prospects.
