Study On The Evaluation Of The Financial Competitiveness Of The New Material Listed Companies

In our country,as one of the seven strategic emerging industries,the new material industry has very important strategic significance to support the development of strategic emerging industries,promote transformation and upgrading of traditional industries,and boost economic growth.Because of a series of policy support from the country,the new material company have achieved rapid development,but compared with developed countries,enterprise competitiveness is significantly weaker.Financial competitiveness,as an important part of enterprise's core competence,has great influence on the competitiveness of new materials enterprises.Therefore,comprehensively and objectively analyzing and evaluating to the financial competitiveness of new material enterprises in our country,and then finds out the way to promote its financial competitiveness is a important topic of the current scholars.This paper collects and organizes relevant studies about enterprise financial competitiveness at home and abroad,and on this basis,makes the qualitative identification to the financial competitiveness of the enterprise,then general introduces the basic theory of corporate finance competitiveness evaluation.Next,this paper introduces the new material industry,including its connotation,characteristics and development status.Based on related theories and the characteristics of the new material industry,the evaluation index system of financial competitiveness of new material enterprises with internal logic is constructed.The system divides the financial competitiveness into four aspects as profit ability,debt paying ability,operating ability,growth ability,creative ability and governmental support,and 18 representative financial indexes are selected.Then,the financial competitiveness of new materials listed companies in China is evaluated by Factor Analysis.The evaluation results were analyzed from three perspectives: the comprehensive evaluation of the sample and the analysis of the common factor,the analysis of the category and the trend analysis.Finally conclusions are as follows: The overall performance of the financial competitiveness of China's new materials listed companies is not very well,especially the performance of the operating ability and creative ability is not satisfactory,Other factors also have some problems;From the development perspective,Although not obvious,the new materials listed companies show a certain improvement as a whole in the financial competitiveness,but the competitiveness of the number of high-quality enterprises are showing a decreasing trend.According to the conclusion,some Suggestions are given in the last part of the paper.
