Research On Contract And Coordination Of Two Types Of Supply Chain With The Consideration Of Fairness Concern And Altruistic Preference

Supply chain decision-making and contract coordination is an important issue in supply chain management,which is always one of the significant research field of management.In previous studies,the decision-makers in the supply chain were regarded as completely rational and only concerned about their own profits.However,with the development of behavioral economics,people gradually realized that decision-makers would have some behavioral preferences,such as fairness concerns and altruistic preferences.Therefore,in recent years,some researchers began to introduce these behavioral factors into the supply chain models,and explore their impact on supply chain decision-making and coordination.But the above research is still in the initial stage,and most of the studies are made in the supply chain containing a supplier and a retailer.While,there is also supply chain structure consist of a supplier and multiple retailers in the reality.We briefly call it one to many type supply chain.As a theoretical exploration,this paper introduces fairness concern and altruistic preference into the supply chain composed of one supplier and two retailers.The main contents of this paper include the following parts:Firstly,the background,purpose and significance of the research are briefly described,and the research status at home and abroad is reviewed.The relevant concepts and theories of supply chain contract and coordination,fairness concern and altruistic preference are briefly introduced,which lays a theoretical foundation for the study of this paper.Secondly,we study a supply chain system consisting of a fairness neutral supplier and two fair concerned retailers.A centralized decision model and a decentralized decision model are established.The influence of the fairness concern of the retailer and the competition between the retailers on the pricing decision and coordination of the supply chain can be got by solving the model and analyzing the mathematical example.When the wholesale price contract can not achieve the coordination of the supply chain,we introduce the side payment contract to realize the coordination of supply chain and the improvement of Pareto.Thirdly,we study a supply chain system consisting of one supplier with altruism preference and two retailers who is completely self-interested.A centralized decision model and a decentralized decision model are established.The influence of the altruism preference of the supplier and the competition between the retailers on the pricing decision and coordination of the supply chain can be got by solving the model and analyzing the mathematical example.When the wholesale price contract can not achieve the coordination of the supply chain,we introduce the quantity discount and the two pricing joint contracts to realize the coordination of supply chain and the improvement of Pareto.Finally,the paper summarized the full text,pointed out the shortcomings of the existence,and put forward further research direction.
