A Study On Travel Preferences Of Russian Tourist In Shandong Province

In the ever-evolving global mass tourism era of Outbound travels,it is of great significance to conduct in-depth study on the scale of development and characteristics of tourists for Russian tourists visiting China,and to promote the development of inbound tourism in Shandong and to strengthen tourism cooperation between China and Russia.Basically,this paper conducts indepth research on the tourist scale,age,and gender of tourists visiting Russian tourists who come to China.Based on an in-depth analysis of the internal and external factors that influence Russian tourists' visits to China,this article takes Shandong tourism as an example.Russian tourists were the subjects of the study.Through questionnaires,the statistical analysis was made on the tourist preferences(season,accommodation,transportation methods,residence time,and location selection of cities,etc.)of 205 Russian tourists coming to Shandong.The results show that for tourists visiting Russian tourists visiting Shandong,the number of Russian tourists visiting Shandong is relatively large,at 57.07%,and is dominated by young people under 25 years of age.Education is the mainstay,and most of the Russian tourists who come to Shandong tourism work for enterprises and institutions or in enterprises and institutions,and their wage income is mainly concentrated in 2000-5000 yuan.In terms of tourists' preferences for Russian tourists visiting Russia,Russian tourists have a particularly strong demand for tourism in winter and autumn.Most Russian tourists are visiting Shandong for the first time and prefer to travel to Shandong with their friends and family.The time preference is about 10-14 days.In terms of urban preferences,Russian tourists who travel to Shandong mainly prefer coastal cities such as Weihai in Qingdao.They prefer places of interest in tourist destinations.They prefer economic hotels and five-star hotels in their accommodations.They prefer planes and trains and food in their travel methods.In terms of preference for Russian meals and Western food,the travel spending preference is about 3,000 to 5,000 yuan.Russian tourists are more inclined to purchase apparel,food and technology products when purchasing tourist products.In terms of tourism sources,they prefer to get from Russian travel agencies or relatives and friends.In terms of tourism preferences,most Russian tourists prefer to visit Shandong again “possibly” next time.At the same time,most Russian tourists believe that tourism environment pollution and the fact that most of the tourists in Shandong's tourism cities do not speak foreign languages is the main reason for their poor travel experience.In view of this,this paper believes that Shandong Province should greatly improve the environment of tourist cities in Shandong and improve the quality of service for Russian tourists by focusing on the tourist characteristics and tourist preferences of Russian tourists.It is necessary to train high-quality Russian tour guides in order to better serve foreign tourists and promote Shandong tourism.Industry development.
