The concept of the National Park was first proposed by the American painter George Catlin in 1832.In 1872,the United States established the world's first national park—— the Yellowstone National Park.Over the following 140 years,countries around the world have successively carried out the construction of national parks.At present,there are three relatively sound and mature national park management systems in the world,which provide practical experience for the pilot programs of the national park system in China.For the first time,China proposed to build a national park system at the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC National Committee.Since then,the piloting task of national park system has been formally incorporated into the national development planning.National parks are recognized as one of the most important types of nature reserves in the world.The main objectives of building national parks in China are to protect and restore ecosystems,protect the integrity and authenticity of ecosystems,and realize the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature.Secondly,through the piloting of the national park system,the phenomenon of multi-headed management,cross-functionality,and unclear ownership of the scenic spot management in China would have gradually faded out.At present,China has a total of 10 piloting areas of national park system.After several years of exploration,the country has issued the “Overall Planning for Establishing a National Park System” in 2017.This overall planning clearly defines the concepts and main objectives of our national parks and indicates the direction of development of the construction of the national park system's piloting project.At present,China has a total of 10 piloting areas of national park systems.After several years of exploration,the country has issued the “Overall Plan for Establishing a National Park System” in 2017.This overall plan clearly defines the concept and main objectives of our national parks.The construction of the National Park System Pilot Project indicates the direction of development.In this context,the paper combines theoretical foundations to propose suggestions for the management and protection of national parks in China and taking the giant panda national park as the specific object to put forward some specific operational opinions.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly explains the background and significance of the research,summarizes the main research contents and directions of scholars at home and abroad for national parks;and the second chapter focuses on explaining and the relative theoretical basis of building national parks to provide a reference basis for practice;Chapter 3rd analyzes and summarizes successful experiences in built successfully national parks internationally;Chapter 4th presents some ideas for the management and protection of national parks in China based on theoretical foundations and internationally successful experiences;The fifth chapter takes the giant panda national park as an example to analyze the possible problems in the construction process of the giant panda national park and put forward several construction suggestions according to the problems.At the end of the article,the article was summarized and the deficiencies in the paper were pointed out.
