The express service network is the core productivity of express enterprises.The rapid increasing of the delivery volume and the urgent demanding for multi-service-level products of consumers prompts enterprises to restructure and optimize the service network constantly.As the expansion of the service network,the heavy asset operating models brings the problems that huge capital occupation,high fixed costs and low rate of return on equity.The key points of the express service network design are turning into networked operation and effective using of asserts.This paper focus on the multi-service-level express service network design problem with asset management,which holds great significance for improving the assets utilization ratio of express service network and cutting the operation costs of express enterprises.Firstly,this paper clarifies the meaning and aim of asset management of express service network,subdividing the asset of express service network into line assets,station assets,vehicle assets and human asset.Taking the method of asset depreciation based on the workload,and classifies the service products of express enterprises into I-IV levels based on the timeliness of different requirements.Secondly,the ML-SNDP-AM model is developed relying on the structure of the huband-spoke express service network,which objective is minimize the total cost of the express service network and maximize vehicle asset utilization ratio.Taking service operation,vehicle selection,network flow allocation as the decision variables.Using the capacity constraints,network flow conservation constraints asset balance constraints,service level constraints as the main constraints.A improved tabu search algorithm is designed and the model is solved by MATLAB mathematics analysis software.Finally,with a realistic example,this paper gives the network flow distribution and asset allocation.Scenario analysis shows that the multiple types of assets for express service network compared to a single type gives clear contribution to smaller total network costs and higher asset utilization ratio.I-class and II-class transportation demand structure in this case,the sub-class total network costs of I-class is higher than that of II-class,the sub-class asset utilization ratio is higher too.The proposed model provides a reference for multi-service-level express service network design with asset management of the express enterprises.
