Along with the market economy system reform's further practice, the rapid development of infrastructure construction and e-commerce,the degree of Chinese commodity market integration is slowly increasing, but existing market segmentation has still restricted the further optimization of China's resource allocation and further participation into global value chains in a certain degree. The existing researches about the cause of China's commodity market segmentation mainly focus on factors, like fiscal decentralization, local government behavior, geographical distance and cultural differences, there is little research about if the development of e-commerce weaken commodity market segmentation?Based on the mechanism of e-commerce's commodity market integration effect and the division of inter-temporal decision-making model, this paper uses the system of generalized moment estimation method(SYS-GMM)to analyze empirically e-commerce impact on China's commodity market segmentation, and put forward relevant policy suggestions and enlightenments. This paper can be divided into six chapters. The first chapter elaborates the research backgrounds of China's commodity market and e-commerce development, and draws out the research significance and research route of this paper. The second chapter summarizes domestic and foreign researches on the causes and measures of commodity market segmentation, the influence mechanism and measures of e-commerce and e-commerce's effect on the commodity market segmentation. In the third chapter, the paper combined the integration effect of e-commerce with the inter-temporal decision-making model for mechanism analysis, and puts forward the corresponding theoretical hypothesis.Based on the measurement of e-commerce development index and market segmentation index, the fourth chapter analyzes the current situations of e-commerce and China's commodity market segmentation. In the fifth chapter,we use static and dynamic panel data to carry out the empirical research and robustness test.According to the theoretical and empirical analysis, the sixth chapter summarizes the research conclusions and proposes pertinent policy suggestions.Based on e-commerce's commodity market integration effect in the theoretical research section, this paper takes the development of e-commerce as a factor affecting market segmentation into the framework of market integration analysis and decomposes into spatial integration, economic integration and institutional integration.Firstly,by considering network effects, scale effects and spatial spillover effects,e-commerce takes the Internet information technology and network infrastructure as the material basis and conducts spatial integration.Secondly,by using reverse supply chain,e-commerce improves circulation efficiency and reduces information asymmetry and cuts transaction costs and realizes economic integration.Finally,e-commerce laws and regulations promote institutional integration and have a weakening effect on market segmentation. On this basis, the inter-period labor-division decision-making model analyzes two different situations, indicating that the development of e-commerce can improve the profits of less-developed regions and then promote the integration of commodity market.Based on the above research conclusions, this paper puts forward the relevant policy suggestions from four aspects:improving the efficiency of electronic commerce information technology, strengthening the strategic mutual trust mechanism on development of regional e-commerce infrastructure, improving innovation ability of e-commerce regulations'supply, and promoting the coordinated development of cross-border e-commerce.
