Evaluation And Analysis For Linking Up Efficiency Of Rail Transit Systems

Suburban rail transits that connecting urban and suburban satellite towns,cross-city rail transits that meet the need of people who travel intercity among city groups,and urban rail transits that meet the need of people who travel within urban areas doing commuting,school attending,leisure or business together constitute a whole rail transit network.The respective rail transit systems in the rail transit network require develop together,so that well linking ups are needed to build up between the systems.Therefore,it's necessary to do the evaluation of the efficiency of linking ups of different rail transit systems,and to sum up experiences and lessons to provide a reference for future planning,design and operations management of linking ups of rail transit systems.Firstly,the conventional rail transit systems classification usually bases on train type standard or the the operating enterprise,while this paper reclassifies rail transit systems basing on objects and scopes of services of rail transit systems,then in accordance with the new classification,analyzes the nation's major cities' rail transit systems.Secondly,the two main measures of linking ups of different rail transit systems,collinear operation and hubs transferring,are introduced.Then the specific forms,the conditions required,mean features,as well as in respect of the application of the two methods are analyzed.Again,according to the features of linking ups of different rail transit systems,the evaluation index system of the efficiency of linking ups of rail transit systems is established,then the DEA(data envelopment analysis)method is selected.Finally,using the data of Dalian rail transit system and the evaluation index system and methods described herein constructed were calculated verification,and based on the calculation results efficiency related recommendations that should be done for improvement.This paper focuses on practical research in the research process.Through proven evaluation index system constructed and DEA(data envelopment analysis)model chosen has good operability and practicality.
