The Research With Problems And Countermeasure On Inventory Cost Control Of A Supermarket Chain

With the development of economic globalization,the wave of chain operation is spreading to many parts of the world,the success of chain operation mode makes supermarket chains have emerged,but also led to the increasingly fierce competition.Faced with such a fierce supermarket competition,how to develop in intense market competitions and control the inventory costs effectively,that is an urgent problem to be solved where in the major supermarket chains at home and abroad.A supermarket chain is a typical enterprise of local supermarket chain in China,which has a considerable reputation in local area,and it's outlet are spread all over the country.A supermarket chain in the process of continuous development,which inventory cost control highlights many problems.So do the research on the inventory cost control,not only can help A supermarket chain reduce the cost effectively,also can have a shoe in this industry.According to the related research results and the theory of controlment at home and abroad,this paper further expounds the composition of supermarket inventory cost,the specificity of inventory cost control and the method.Through a large number of literature reading and on-the-spot investigation to the A of supermarket chain,the author found three aspects;firstly A supermarket chain analyzes the present situation of inventory cost control,including the financial accounting,information systems,inventory procurement,warehouse management and its distrubition and so on.Secondly,with the current situation of various aspects of A supermarket chain,found A supermarket chain inventory holding cost is high,lack of enterprise internal information sharing,purchasing transportation storage link problems of cost control is not perfect,around these problems analysis of the current enterprise inventory backlog,inventory turnover rate is too low,and managers weak management and other reasons,lead to the phenomenon of the inventory cost is higher.Finally,aiming at the existing problem of A supermarket chain and combining with the actual situation,the author put forward the improvement Suggestions,including strengthes the accounting of inventory cost,optimizes the information systems and reduces the inventory cost and so on.We hope that A supermarket chain inventory cost control management not only can bring the certain reference meaning,but also can bring certain enlightenment to other supermarket chains.
