A Research On The Protective Development Of Shengsi's Island Tourism, Based On Tourism Environment Carrying Capacity

In recent years,island tourism has become a pillar and sunrise industry in many coastal countries and regions because of its unique advantages in marine resources and various types of tourism activities.However,the rise of island tourism activities is also accompanied by the irrational development and utilization of tourism resources and the excessive reception of tourists during the season of island tourism.Many island-type tourism destinations have suffered the destruction of landscape resources,reduction of island vegetation coverage,water pollution,and accumulation of solid waste and other issues.Therefore,the assessment of island tourism environment capacity could warn the over-exploitation of island tourism resources and limit excessive number of tourists entering the island.Island tourism regulation and management has caught attention of the academic community.In this paper,after studying and collecting the concept of tourism environment capacity,index system,measurement model,island tourism and other relevant documents,the writher has learned the origin and development of tourism environment capacity,measurement methods and quantitative models,and management methods,and determined the corresponding component factors.The index system for tourism environmental capacity of island-type scenic spots was determined,and four primary indicators were identified,namely,ecological environment capacity,resource space environmental capacity,environmental capacity of tourism facilities,and tourism psychological environment capacity;ten secondary indicators,and specific measures index.Based on these data,a calculation model for the tourist environment capacity of Island was established,and the tourist environment capacity of Shengsi island was set at 17,200 person/day,and the annual environmental capacity was 6,278,000 person-times.The tourism environment capacity of Shengsi Island was determined by the resource space environment,that is,the resource space environment capacity is the main limiting factor,followed by the tourism economic environment capacity,the tourism ecological environment capacity,and the tourism social environment capacity limits least.Through the analysis of the temporal and spatial dimensions of tourist arrivals on the Shengsi Islands,it is found that Shengsi Island tourism is approaching the upper limit of tourism environment capacity;the possibility of overloading the environmental capacity is extremely high.Combining the characteristics of resources on the islands,we will propose suggestions from the three aspects of resource development,environmental protection,and scientific management.These development suggestions are the protection of tourism resources,development of tourism products,improvement of tourism facilities,protection of ecological environment,management of environmental capacity,the function of playing a role in community participation and so on.Through research on the calculation of the tourism environment capacity and protective development of Shengsi islands,the gaps in the study of the tourism environment capacity system on the Shengsi Island will be filled,which provide scientific basis for future tourism development Shengsi County,provide guidance for tourism development of island-type tourist attractions,and improve the sustainable development of resources to achieve better ecological,social and economic benefits.
