Study On The Changes Of Mountainous Farming Method In The Northwest Of Jiangxi

Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy.Mountain agriculture,an important regional model of agriculture,has made great contributions to human civilization.The northwestern part of Jiangxi mostly consists of low hilly areas,where generations of farmers and farming civilization will exist for a long time.This paper chooses the Yan Bi Village as a sample to study agricultural cultivation modes in northwestern part of Jiangxi province through historical analysis and the perspective of cultivation methods.In chronological order,the paper expounds the evolution of history and rural farming methods in three major periods since the foundation of the People's Republic of China.The three major periods are as follow:The first one is the family farming method and the collective farming practice in the traditional period;The second is family contract farming at the beginning of the reform and opening up in the 80s of last century and market-oriented farming methods in the 90s of last century;The third is the universal method of farming in the early 21^st century,including the special farming method of mechanized farming in recent years.This paper seeks the relationship between agricultural farming methods and factors of production under national changes and effects made by the interaction of the government and the market.With the problems of low industrialization,the missing use of modern technology,underinvestment etc,existing in the development of mountainous agriculture in northwestern part of Jiangxi,the paper presents“developing special farming industry,attracting investment to establish processing industry,the scientific layout of tourism”for the modern mountainous agriculture to realize new mode of integrated development of the primary industry,secondary industry and tertiary industry,promote the development of regional agriculture,the growth of farmers'income and the economic prosperity of rural areas.
