Research On The Spatial-temporal Evolution Of Regional Innovation Difference In China

Innovation is an important part of China's five development concepts.with China's opening up to improve quality and efficiency,to improve the country's ability to innovate,and to build its own independent innovation system,it is necessary to rationalize the distribution of innovation resources.The premise of rational distribution is to recognize the spatial and temporal pattern of innovation differences.On the whole,China's technological innovation level has been dominated by the past and turned to run and lead in more areas.However,there is still a big gap between China's regional innovation and development.Due to the strong constraints of both the external environment and the internal technological development path,this spatial heterogeneity of regional innovation may exist for a long time.Under such circumstances,we must narrow the gap between China's regional economic development and form a scientific and systematic spatial strategy.The academic community must pay attention to the issue of regional innovation differences.Domestic and foreign scholars have conducted a lot of research on the factors of regional economic differences,which has solidified the theoretical basis for regional innovation research.In the study of regional innovation differences,this paper imitates regional economic differences,pioneeringly uses the Theil index decomposition method of regional innovation,measures the relative differences in regional innovation development from different spatial scales,and learns from the increase in spatial rewards of new economic geography.Theory,trying to find out the interaction of innovation activities and knowledge spillover contributes to the spatial distribution of regional innovation activities.This paper first summarizes the current research on regional innovation development in China and summarizes the current research on regional differences and regional innovation differences in China and foreign countries.The current status of regional innovation in China is also input and innovation from innovation.The analysis of the three aspects of the output and the main body of the innovation will pave the way for an empirical analysis of regional innovation differences in China.On this basis,through the collection of national grade patent panel data from 2000 to 2013,the contribution of China's spatial units to the total regional innovation differences in China was calculated using the Theil coefficient decomposition method and spatial analysis method.> Economical interregional differences > Inter-provincial differences indicate that the smaller the spatial unit,the greater the contribution to regional innovation differences.Provincial differences do not affect the ability of a region to innovate.China's innovation output(patent output)has obvious geographic concentration,with significant differences between regions.The level of innovation output in the eastern coastal areas is relatively high,while the output capacity of innovation in the middle and western regions is weak,and the innovation output of each province and city exists.Spatial clustering and overflow features.Finally,on the basis of the above conclusions,we find out the reasons for regional differences in China's innovation and put forward policy recommendations that are suitable for the balanced development of China's innovation.
