Study On Supply Chain Quality Risk Control And Coordination Mechanism Based On Contract And Trust

Product quality is important to future market demand and the whole supply chain profit.Product quality problem not only results in enormous financial loss,but also damages the reputation of company.Under the supply chain environment,product quality is guaranteed by all members in the supply chain,so that quality control is more complicated.In this dissertation,we consider a supply chain which includes a manufacturer who decides the product quality and a retailer.Because the demand is related to product quality and sale price,the retailer must know the accurate product quality to estimate the market demand.The retailer faces two quality risk factor which could lower the quality level and the profit of supply chain,one is noncontractible quality,and the other is asymmetric quality information.For the two quality risk factors,we aim to supply chain quality risk control and supply chain coordination.Firstly,we design contracts to coordinate the supply chain with quality level,sales price and order quantity in the case of no quality risk.On the basis we design contracts to carry out quality incentive and supply chain coordination for noncontractible quality risk in two types of game order.We also put forward a contract mechanism to reduce the risk of asymmetric quality cost information.On account of the asymmetry of quality information,the manufacturer has incentive to distort the real product quality level,resulting in moral hazard.Reality game proves that the decision making of players is not only related to the economic factors,but also connected with non-economic factors such as trust,fairness and so on.In this paper,we include the trust factors to the decision models of supply chain to analyze the influence of trust factors to the manufacturer's quality report and the retailer's order policy.And then we research whether and how trust factors can control the supply chain quality risk.The study shows that we can design reasonable contract to control the supply chain quality risk and coordinate the supply chain including the quality level,sales price and ordering quantity.We also finds that trust factors can realize the supply chain quality risk control and quality incentive.
