With the successful practice of corporate social responsibility,managers have begun to consider corporate social responsibility as one of the most important ways to gain competitive advantage.At first,managers mainly used social responsibility as a marketing tool to get consumers' trust and external reputation.This practice can enhance the competitive advantage of enterprises.However,the neglect of the existing employees limits the sustainability of the competitive advantage.In order to break this limit,managers begin to try to meet the job needs of employees through corporate social responsibility,so as to attract and retain excellent employees.At present,the vast number of new generation employees have entered the workplace,occupying the main share of the labor market.Although the knowledge,skills and innovation ability of new generation employees can bring new vitality to the development of enterprises,the resignation and job hopping of new generation employees has become the norm,and their dedication to work is generally low.Zhaopin recruitment investigated and analyzed the phenomenon and found that the main reason for the new generation's turnover is that their expectations for work and reality are too large,and employees lack sense of meaning in their work.On the contrary,new generation employees s how great interest in corporate social responsibility activities in their lives and jobs.They are willing to spend more money on public welfare products and hope to work in a company that is responsible for the society.Based on this situation,it is nece ssary to study the impact of corporate social responsibility perceived by employees on employee engagement and the intermediary role of work meaningfulness.This article takes undergraduate and above education as the research object,whose age is mostly concentrated in the new generation.Through the analysis of the data collected by the questionnaire,this paper makes an empirical study on the relationship between employee perceived corporate social responsibility and employee engagement.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)employees' perceived corporate social responsibility can positively affect employee engagement,among which,the responsibility to the consumer has the most significant impact on employee engagement and its dimensions.(2)work meaningfulness can positively affect employee engagement,and work meaningfulness has more significant impact on employee job engagement.(3)employees' perceived corporate social responsibility can enhance work meaningfulness,and the impact of environmental responsibilities on work meaningfulness is the most significant.(4)work meaningfulness plays a mediating role between employees' perceived corporate social responsibility and employee engagement.work meaningfulness plays a complete mediating role in the relationship between the responsibility of employee and employee engagement,and plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between the responsibility of consumers and the environment and employee engagement.Finally,according to the conclusion of the study,we put forward relevant suggestions for enterprise practice,in order to enhance employee's sense of happiness,promote the competitive advantage of the enterprise,realize the multi win of the staff,the enterprise and the society.
