As one of the main contents of warehouse management,warehouse slotting allocation problem has a significant impact on warehouse operation efficiency.To deal with slotting allocation problem,many existing researches take the matter from basic principles of warehouse slotting allocation,and have established a number of models and methods for optimization of warehouse slotting allocation,however,most of them are based on the traditional warehouse layout.This article starts with warehouse fishbone layout,establishes a multi-objective warehouse slotting allocation model based on fishbone layout,then uses a hybrid algorithm combining genetic algorithm and ant colony algorithm to solve it.To verify the reliability of the multi-objective model and the feasibility of the mixed algorithm,the article makes a case study of warehouse slotting allocation,with the data of a maintenance spare parts warehouse.This study provides a new perspective and ideas for the of reasonable allocation for warehouse slotting and increasing the efficiency of warehouse operations,and The study has some valuable significance in practice.(1)The allocation of warehousing slotting mainly refers to allocating suitable slotting for cargos,goods or materials,so as to make full use of the storage facility space,facilitate storage operations,improve operating efficiency,and reduce costs.Most of previous studies are based on traditional warehouse layouts,analyze categories of goods and storage strategies in different warehouses,optimize the warehouse slotting allocation problem by developing models,and apply and improve various algorithms to solve the optimization model.There is little study on slotting allocation problem with fishbone layout.(2)It introduces the general form of fishbone layout in warehouse,and proposes improvements to fishbone layout detailed design method to make it adapt to the warehouse slotting allocation model,which is used to calculate the relevant parameters of shelf arrangement in warehouse fishbone layout.Based on that,combined with fishbone layout,it 'develops multi-objective warehouse slotting allocation model,of which goals are ensuring stability of storage shelves and improving warehouse operation efficiency.(3)The warehouse slotting allocation model is a multi-objective optimization problem.The general idea of solving multi-objective problem is to turn it into a single-objective optimization problem and then solve it.In this paper,with improving genetic algorithm and the ant colony algorithm,it combines them together to solve warehouse slotting allocation model.Firstly,genetic algorithm,with its random searching,high speed and global convergence,is used to get the initial solution population of every single objective.Then,using initial solution population of the genetic algorithm to get initial pheromone distribution in ant colony optimization algorithm.Lastly,ant colony optimization algorithn,with its positive feedback mechanism and high efficiency,was used to get the final solutions to the model.(4)Taking the maintenance spare parts warehouse as an example,it analyzes the fishbone layout design,develops warehouse slotting allocation model,and then get solutions by using the Genetic-Ant Colony Hybrid Algorithm.
