The Research On The Impact Of Producer Services Industry Agglomeration On Manufacturing Productivity In China

As a traditional industry,manufacturing industry not only represents the comprehensive strength of a country,but also reflects the international competitiveness of a country.Since the founding of New China 70 years ago,through the unremitting efforts of all the Chinese people,China has developed from a very weak manufacturing country to the world's largest manufacturing country,but China is not yet a manufacturing power.In the development of manufacturing industry,with the improvement of specialization degree,in order to further reduce production costs,service outsourcing has emerged,which has evolved into today's productive service industry.In recent years,producer services have developed rapidly,and its distribution has obvious characteristics of agglomeration.Producer services achieve scale effect through agglomeration,and promote specialization based on comparative advantage to improve the economic efficiency within the region.On the basis of combing the existing related literatures,this paper uses the panel theory and spatial measurement model based on the relevant theories of industrial economics to measure and analyze the impact of the agglomeration of productive service industry in China on the production efficiency of manufacturing.Taking the close relationship between producer service industry and manufacturing industry as the starting point,this paper analyzes the current situation of China's productive service industry agglomeration and manufacturing efficiency,and studies the impact of producer service industry agglomeration on China's manufacturing efficiency.Based on the fixed effect model,using the data of 31 provinces(cities)and districts in China,the results show that the agglomeration of producer services has a strong role in promoting the production efficiency of China's manufacturing industry.Then,based on the spatial Dubin model,the spatial spillover effect of the producer service industry on the production efficiency of China's manufacturing industry is studied.The study found that from a national perspective,the impact of producer service industry agglomeration on China's manufacturing efficiency has a significant positive spatial spillover effect.At the same time,the results of research in different regions of China show that the spatial spillover effect has significant regional differences,the producer services in the eastern and centralregions are concentrated,and the manufacturing efficiency of neighboring provinces(municipalities)and districts is high.Ascension brings positive spillover effects,while the western region does not have spatial spillover effects.According to the research conclusions,the following policy recommendations are proposed: First,the government introduces policies to reduce the barriers to entry for producers of service industries,and implements a system of decentralization and decentralization,thereby increasing the level of agglomeration of productive services.Second,improve the training of talents in the western region,implement preferential welfare policies,and retain talents.Third,increase government spending on the western region and promote technological progress.
