Analysis On The Regional Differences In Economic Effect Of Tourism In China

Nowadays,China's economy has entered a period of new normal and the economic structure is in transition,improved and upgraded constantly.In face of this reality,a new growth engine would have to be constructed.In recent years,the development trend of China's tourism industry is unprecedentedly increased.In the 13 th Five-Year Plan,tourism industry has considered as a renewed impetus to the economic transformation and upgrading.In order to upgrade the overall level of tourism development,China encourage holistic tourism destinations development,tourism industry also encountered restructuring.Faced with this,it is necessary to reassess the economic effect of tourism industry.Therefore,this paper focus on 31 province,municipalities and autonomous regions,take data of recent 12 years.In the views of the two dimensions,time and space,analyzes economic effect of multi-level regions from domestic tourism and inbound tourism respectively.Take the spatial correlation into consideration,measure the spatial distribution of both domestic tourism and inbound tourism,as well as their corresponding economic effect.From what has been mentioned above,this paper draws the following conclusion.Firstly,spatial autocorrelation exists in both domestic tourism and inbound tourism,so that it should have to be taken into consideration,or else the results would be biased.At the same time,the spatial distribution in region range has presented significant differences.Secondly,the thriving development of tourism industry promotes economic growth,the economic effect of domestic tourism is stronger than inbound tourism.Thirdly,the economic effect of different region diverse too.In the eastern region,only domestic tourism present significant impact on economy.As for the middle region,both domestic tourism and inbound tourism evidently advance economic growth.However,in the western region,only inbound tourism plays a significant role in boosting the economy.
