To probe into the relationship, and evaluate the direct coupling efficiency between change in urban land use structure and development of regional industrial structure in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and further to put forward suggestions on optimizing land use structure in the area to support industrial structure, cities within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area are classified by different dimensions,to measure time series data related to urban construction land structure and industrial structure based on statistics in yearbooks from 2001 to 2015,and teste interrelations between indicators of land use structure and industrial structure of 11 cities in the area through methods including Granger Casualty Test and Gray Correlation. In addition, data of 11 cities within the area in 2015 are also used to measure the efficiency levels of their urban land use structures and industrial structures, based on the results of which, the coupling degree between urban land use structure and industrial structure within the area is evaluated, also, global spatial and local spatial autocorrelations are analyzed herein. Conclusions include:(1)the degree of change in urban land use structure and that in industrial structure within the area are different;(2)the driving force of industrial structure and that of land use structure of cities with different industrial heights in the area are different;(3)there are significant differences in the mutual cause-effect relation intensity between two structures of different city groups divided by industrial structure;(4)there is significant multi-core spatial spillover effect centering around Hong Kong,Shenzhen,Guangzhou and Macau in respect of the efficiency grade and coupling degree of two structures of cities within the area.
