In recent years,with the background of the Internet +,the take-away industry has been developing rapidly.Take-away not only complies with the trend of national development,but also caters to the needs of today's consumers,especially young people.This paper takes the case of Eleme M & A Baidu takeaway as an example to deeply analyze the status quo,problems and development trends of the internet take-away industry in our country.Based on the theory of M & A motivation and M & A effect theory,analyze the impact of the mergers and acquisitions and put forward reasonable suggestions on the problems existing in the process of the merger and integration.The first part of this article is a brief introduction of the case,which mainly describes the background of the Internet takeaway industry,the general situation of Eleme and Baidu takeaway,and the process of Eleme M & A Baidu takeaway.The second part is a case study.First,the motivation for the acquisition of Baidu takeaway is analyzed by using the motivation theory of M & A.Secondly,the effect of the acquisition of Baidu takeaway is analyzed by the theory of M & A effect.Finally,propose countermeasures for the problems occurred during the integration of the M & A.This article believes that for Eleme,the acquisition of Baidu takeaway,not only make up the high-end areas of the gap,but also better help themselves open the local life service market.Eleme and Baidu's takeaway market share ranks first in the take-out market.The two platforms have complementary advantages and are strong and powerful,forming a good synergy.However,the follow-up integration process of this merger and acquisition is difficult.Therefore,the subsequent development of Eleme,opportunities and challenges coexist.
