With the rapidly developing of networks,the hot events of network public opinion have occurred frequently in recent years.After the outbreak of the event,it always quickly swept across the country and spread through the network to form a powerful "blowout" public opinion,which could directly affect the performance of the enterprise,and even the enterprise's development and survival.From the emotional analysis of network public opinion,this paper reviews literature and suggests the hypothesis of the impact of positive and negative network public opinion on the market performance and financial performance.Through the screening of the 500 Fortune Chinese companies in 2017,296 companies listed in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock market are selected as the research samples,and the network crawler technology is used to collect the above.After text preprocessing,the support vector machine method is applied to train the model to classify the positive,neutral and negative emotions of public opinion.Then the performance data of these enterprises is collected through the CSMAR database and the annual reports of listed companies.By using EXCEL and SPSS to collate and analyze the collected data,the relationship between the positive and negative public opinion and the enterprise market performance and financial performance is established,and the multiple regression analysis is used to carry out the empirical test.It is found that there is a positive correlation between positive public opinion and corporate performance.There is a negative correlation between negative public opinion and corporate performance.The influence of negative public opini on on corporate performance is much greater than that of positive public opinion.This index of growth has no significant impact on enterprise performance.Finally,it puts forward suggestions on the management of network public opinion to improve enterpri se performance..
