Study On The Development Of China-ASEAN Economic And Trade Cooperation Zone

As a way for enterprises with unique Chinese characteristics to “go overseas together”,the overseas economic and trade cooperation zone which has been developing rapidly since it was first proposed in 2005 has become an important platform for Chinese companies' overseas investment and has aroused broad attention in the academic community.Based on the overall guidance of the home country government and strong policy support from the host government,the overseas economic and trade cooperation zone generally has a certain political background,which provides a certain basis for the stable and long-term development of the cooperation zone.The ASEAN region,which is rich in natural resources,has a vast market and enjoys an important strategic location and whose member states have relatively fewer trade frictions with Euramerican developed countries,is highly attractive to Chinese companies.At the same time,though the big curtain of China's supply-side reform has been raised,the issue of overcapacity is still severe,and the export,as an important force that can stimulate economic growth,is often treated unfairly.Therefore,China's implementation of the strategy of establishing an overseas trade and economic cooperation zone in ASEAN is of great significance to the stable economic and social development of both sides.This article first introduced the development status of the China-ASEAN foreign economic and trade cooperation zone,and discussed the bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN before and after the construction of the overseas trade and economic cooperation zone in terms of bilateral trade and direct investment,and combined the China-ASEAN foreign economic and trade cooperation zone.The distribution and industrial distribution have discussed the established cooperation area as a whole.Second,it empirically analyzes the effects of the establishment of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones on China's exports and investments to ASEAN,and concludes that the construction of cooperation zones has effectively promoted China's exports and investment to ASEAN countries.From the aspects of the cooperation zone positioning,cooperation zone planning,corporate financing in the cooperation zone,cultural differences,and investment promotion processes,the issues existing in the China-ASEAN foreign economic and trade cooperation zone were discussed,and the macro guidance and support from the government were strengthened;the scientific planning of the cooperation zone was promoted.Precise positioning;expansion of capital accommodation channels;adaptation of cooperation areas;innovation of investment methods in cooperation areas;introduction of reserve-related talents,etc.,and put forward corresponding countermeasures.
