The Research On The Influence Of Overseas Economic And Trade Cooperation Zones On China’s OFDI

After the "Belt and Road" initiative was put forward,China vigorously promoted the construction of economic corridors,established economic and trade cooperation zones,and strengthened cooperation in the fields of international production capacity and equipment manufacturing,which has promoted the rapid development of the real economy.As a new form of foreign investment and cooperation,overseas economic and trade cooperation zones have gradually become a fresh practice in the construction of the "Belt and Road".It has become the goal of all countries to work together to build an overseas economic and trade cooperation zone and promote the open and inclusive development of the global economy and society.Therefore,in-depth research on China’s foreign direct investment will help promote China’s economic development and international coordinated development.Firstly,this paper discusses the mechanism of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones to promote foreign direct investment from four perspectives based on relevant theoretical foundations,namely platform effect,industrial cluster effect,institutional substitution effect and synergy effect;secondly,this paper introduces China’s foreign direct investment Overview of investment and overseas economic and trade cooperation zones,focusing on analyzing the location layout of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones;thirdly,using the relevant data of 34 countries from 2005 to 2020,based on the GMM model to explore the establishment of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones and the development of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones.The relationship between scale and my country’s foreign direct investment.Through theoretical research and empirical analysis,it is found that the regional layout of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones is not balanced,but there is no doubt that the establishment of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones will help to increase the foreign direct investment of Chinese enterprises,and the level of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones in the host country And the larger the scale of construction,the more it will help to increase the direct investment of Chinese enterprises in the country.Finally,this paper proposes to strengthen the overall layout and balanced development of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones at the national level,and at the same time guide the industrial upgrading of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones.It is recommended that enterprises integrate the characteristics of the location of the development zone,seek more diversified development models,carry out more cross-cultural training,and conduct local management.
