Land use/cover change is currently a frontier and hot issue in global change research[1].The important basis of LUCC's research work is the acquisition of land use/cover data. With the rapid development of RS technology, land use/cover information acquired through RS has become an important part of LUCC research.Global climate change has had a profound impact on land use/coverage and changed the structure of land use/coverage.Therefore,land use patterns and farming practices have changed in some areas[2],resulting in land degradation, land desertification and other phenomena. Therefore, the study on land use/cover change work, especially the study of land use change in arid regions, analyzes the law of change, identifies internal causes, proposes a rational and efficient plan for land use,and reduces the impact of human activities on the environment. The impact is of great importance to maintaining the stability of the ecosystem and the sustainable development of land resources. This paper takes the Hetian area as the research area, uses RS,GIS technology,SPSS software and various land use dynamic change models to study LUCC in Hetian area from 1990to 2015,revealing the quantity, time and space of land use in Hetian area.Dynamic change characteristics, combined with least-squares method, principal component analysis method and related typicality analysis method, analyze the natural driving forces and socio-economic driving forces of land use change in Hotan area. The research results are as follows:(1)Land use changes in Hetian area from 1990 to 2000 were mainly concentrated between cultivated land, grassland, water areas and unused land,of which arable land increased by413.75 km2,grassland increased by 2359.24 km2,and unused land decreased by 2825.08 km2.In water areas and unused land, grassland increased from unutilized land, and unused land was mainly converted to grassland and water areas. The reason for this was that due to the slow economic development in Hetian area during this period, the main focus was on the development of agriculture and animal husbandry. As a result, the amount of arable land and grassland in the Hotan area increased. From 2000 to 2010,the growth rate of cultivated land in the Hotan area declined, which was a decrease of 0.57 percentage points from the previous period. The construction land was also increased by 0.06 percentage points from the previous period, but the area of grassland and woodland showed a downward trend, indicating that With the implementation of the development of the country's western regions, the land use in the Hetian area has been transformed and slowly developed toward the direction of construction land. From 2010 to 2015,the growth rate of cultivated land and construction land in Hotan area was the fastest, and the reduction rate of grassland, forest land, and unused land also gradually increased, indicating that the economic development of Hetian area was relatively rapid at this stage, and human activities had the most dramatic impact on land use types. It is necessary to take appropriate measures to prevent further degradation of the grasslands, environmental issues such as desertification, and to realize the sustainable use of land resources in the Hetian area.(2)From the perspective of land-use transfer, arable land-grassland-unused land is frequently converted to each other, cultivated land is easily invaded, grassland is converted into arable land with a certain tendency, forest land use types are relatively stable, and construction land is mainly It is transformed from grassland and unused land.It is more likely that there will be mutual exchanges between waters and grasslands.(3)From the perspective of spatial distribution characteristics, the geographical changes of grassland-cultivated land, unused land, and cultivated land showed characteristic points along the river's line, mainly concentrated in the Kriya River,Karakash River and Yulong Kashgar. The middle reaches of the river flows along the river while small rivers appear along the middle of the small mountain rivers in the Karakoram Mountains in the Niya River and the Pishan County. The area of forest lands and waters remains basically stable.Because the Hetian area is located on the edge of the desert, the protection of forest land resources is relatively strong and the policies are strong. Therefore, the forest land and water area have remained basically unchanged in the past 25 years. The spatial changes of construction land are mainly concentrated around the counties, with a dotted distribution, mainly arable land and unused land transfers. The spatial changes of unutilized land were concentrated in the surrounding of Minfeng County,in the north of Hotan County,in the south of Luopu County and in the south of Moyu County, and in the plain where the Kunlun Mountains meet, and then continued along the major rivers in Pishan County and around the towns.Reduce the status.(4)From the perspective of development trends, with the development of time, the economy of Hotan region has been continuously developing, but from the perspective of various economic indicators, its various indicators are significantly lower than the level of Xinjiang, indicating that although the economy of Hotan District has been gradually developed in recent years,However, its development speed is still at a relatively low level compared to Xinjiang. Therefore, under the condition of ensuring the sustainable development of land resources in Hetian,it is particularly important to speed up its economic development.(5)Population growth and socio-economic development in Hetian area in 1990-015 were the dominant factors driving land use change in Hetian area. The impact of regional economic progress and urbanization on land use changes was mainly reflected in changes in land use structure and its development.degree.
