In the supply chain,any participating company may face supply risks that affect its normal operation.However,with the development of supply chain globalization,the impact of supply risk events on corporate management performance is increasing.Therefore,the research on supply risk has attracted the attention of scholars and industry practitioners in the field of supply chain management.Previous research has focused on the causes of supply risks,supply chain vulnerability,the impact of supply risks on performance,and the management of supply risks.Little attention is paid to the strategic behavior that companies take after supply risks occur.Although there is evidence that companies may respond to these risk events in different ways,the understanding of the formation of these response mechanisms is very limited.But the ability of companies to respond effectively to adverse events and adapt to potential problems or environmental changes is critical to their competitiveness and long-term development.Therefore,the purpose of the research is to explore:First,what are the contingency factors affecting the implementation of supply risk mitigation strategies when faced with supply risks?Second,how do different situational factors affect the choice of corporate supply risk mitigation strategies?The study explored the selection process for enterprises to implement supply risk mitigation strategies.Firstly,based on the previous relevant research and the actual situation of the enterprise,the contingency factors affecting the enterprise's choice of supply risk mitigation strategy are studied from the sources of supply risk,namely buyer,supplier,buyer-supplier relationship and environmental uncertainty.Based on the information processing theory and resource dependence theory,the influence of different contexts on the choice of enterprise supply risk mitigation strategies is further elaborated.The research hypothesis is proposed and the conceptual model is constructed.Finally,the data was obtained by questionnaire and the hypothesis was tested by multiple regression analysis.The results show that the impact degree of supply risk and the degree of emphasis on supply risk have a positive impact on the choice of bridging and buffering strategies,but only when considering the impact degree of supply risk or the degree of emphasis on supply risk.There is same degree on the choice of the two mitigation strategies;the supplier supply capacity and the buyer-supplier relationship quality have different effects on the choice of the two mitigation strategies.When the supplier's supply capacity is weak or the buyer-supplier relationship quality is poor,enterprise chooses the buffer strategy;When the supplier's supply capacity or the buyer-supplier relationship quality is better,enterprise Select a bridging strategy.In addition,As the same as buyer-supplier relationship quality,environmental uncertainty is positively adjusting positive correlation between the supplier's supply capacity with bridging,weakening the positive correlation with buffering.As the same as supply risk impacts,Enterprise supply chain risk information processing capabilities are positively adjusting the positive correlation between supply risk attitudes with mitigation strategies.In other words,the supply chain risk information processing capability enhances the sensitivity and responsiveness of the company to risk.The study analyzes the influencing factors of the implementation of supply risk mitigation strategies and the impact of different situational factors on the choice of enterprise supply risk mitigation strategies.How to deal with supply risks and supply chain effectiveness through effective implementation of supply risk mitigation strategies for manufacturing enterprises The aspect has theoretical guiding significance.
