With the development of decades, microsystems manufacturing industry is experiencing a rapid growth and fierce competition as well. As one of famous domestic Microsystems manufacturing enterprise, D Company has enjoyed years of booming development in China market and made great achievements in the past decades, whilst faced great competitive pressure. With the view of company comparative advantage, D Company has devoted vast funds on new products development; on the other hand aim to sell products at more competitive prices, which contributes lower and lower profit to the company. In order to better survive and forever growth, D Company has set up its most priority essence as to highlight R&D, marketing and manufacturing on one hand, and penetrate internal purchasing potential to reduce cost, assure production demand and provide competitive advantages for the market as well. This article is aimed to study the purchasing and supplier management of D Company. Firstly, sketch a general picture about the environment and current purchasing status for D Company to find out the existing problems among purchasing procedures. Secondly, bring forward the view of supply subdivision model to re-sort material and components, and to take different purchasing strategies per different sorting results. Basing on this, the article gives a new thinking way about supplier management, project the sorting matrix for supplier, defines the main type of supplier and studies the corresponding management strategy. Then the article establishes a scientific flow and way of choosing supplier and an effective system of supplier performance evaluation. In the end, the article comes to a detailed study about the management for strategic partner relationship suppliers.The thesis provides a direct guidance of purchasing and supplier management for D Company and also provides certain reference value for other similar companies.
