Research On Optimizing Farmers Household Strategies From The Middle And Southern Areas Of Ningxia

The life of peasants has always been the focus of the “three rural problems”and the key to solving the problems of agriculture,rural and farmers”.Ningxia is the largest and most populous provinces of poverty population accounted,nine fixed poverty county(district),funding a 800,570000 people living in poverty,and the poverty population accounts for 8.6% of the population in this district,especially concentrated in the central and southern regions.This article is based on the sustainable livelihoods analysis framework from DFID,on the basis of previous studies,taking the central and southern regions of Ningxia as an example,selected the seven counties of 16 villages as the field research object,using the quantitative analysis method,constructing the binary logistic model,analyzing the relationship between the livelihood capital and livelihood strategies of the farmers,and this paper discusses how to adapt to the development of farmers' livelihood activities.Results show that,due to the obvious regional differences,different farmers livelihood capital ownership plays a significant role in the choice of their livelihood strategies,but also indirectly affects the farmers livelihood transformation,which presents different livelihood models.Based on the actual situation of the research area,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward to promote the continuous improvement of the farmers livelihood strategies in ethnic areas,and accelerate the livelihood transformation in ethnic areas.This paper is divided into seven chapters.The structure is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter includes the selected topic background and significance,the domestic and foreign research on peasant household livelihoods dynamic,definition of related concepts,research methods and technology road map,and this part is the article preparation.The second chapter is the theoretical basis of the research on the livelihood of farmers.This chapter introduces the sustainable livelihood theory,resourceoptimization theory and ecological culture adaptation theory,which are the theoretical basis for this paper.The third chapter is the research area and the data source of this paper.The basic generally situation and data acquisition of the middle and southern regions of Ningxia are illustrated.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the livelihood capital of farmers.Through the field survey results,this chapter briefly analyzes the basic situation of farmers' livelihood capital,the existing problems and some internal relation among the capitals,and makes a brief for all kinds of capital value measurement.The fifth chapter is the analysis of farmers livelihood strategy.By analyzing the basic characteristics of farmers' livelihood activities and the types of livelihood strategies,this chapter presents the existing problems of the livelihood activities of peasant households.The sixth chapter is the empirical analysis of the relationship between the livelihood capital and livelihood strategies.In this chapter,the relationship between livelihood capital and livelihood strategy is analyzed by building the binary Logistic model.Chapter seven is the path choice of the farmers livelihood strategies optimization.This chapter mainly focuses on the empirical research results,puts forward the countermeasures for the optimization of the farmers livelihood strategies,and makes a brief summary of this paper.
