Increasingly high rate of turnover occurs in companies with more and more post-80 s and post-90 s engaging in work place,especially for small and medium-sized enterprises.Although they take active actions against turnover,the outcome is not satisfied.It is of great difficulty for those small and medium-sized enterprises to cope with this tough issue.Talent is an essential component of a company.Therefore,it is no doubt that this problem would impose great influence on the realization of companies' long-term strategic goals and sustainable development.Post-80 s and post-90 s are a group of people who born after the implementation of family planning policy.They are also a group of people who are exposed to the impact of transitions of economic system from planned economy to market economy.The two generations are under of the influence of the shift of employment system from assigned jobs to freely choosing.The concept of career planning has not been solidly built in their minds and the older generation.The causes of high turnover rate can be explored from different aspects,such national level,market environment,policies,and individual factors and so on.However,some evident and common reasons can be identified,such as unclear career objective,blindness in finding a job,lack of self-recognition and lack of full knowledge of an industry.These situations are caused by unclearly career planning.From the perspective of career planning,this thesis makes a profound study on the issue of turnover in company through case analysis under the guidance of related theories of career planning management both at home and abroad.Some major conclusions can be drawn as follows.High turnover in companies closely relates to the miss of doing career planning.Companies can guide or help employees to make reasonable career planning in the early stage,mid-stage and post stage.Thus companies can retain employee efficiently and then guarantee the realization of their strategic goals and sustainable development.The findings of this thesis can serve as a reference to those small and medium-sized enterprises to cope with turnover.
