In September 2013,the Chinese government initiated the initiative to build the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and “21st Century Maritime Silk Road”,marking the launch of the “One Belt and One Road” macro strategy, which also means that China's is ready to opening to the outside world.Emerging economies comprised of developing countries are gradually becoming centers of economic and China's foreign trade centers. We have reason to believe in the “One Belt and One Road” strategy. The proposal will greatly increase China's confidence in foreign trade and help promote economic growth in China and countries along the route. In March 2018,President Trump of the United States disregarded all opposition and openly violated the WTO agreement and the common interests of China and the United States and opened a “trade war” in private, which had a huge impact on bilateral trade. The background of the “trade warfare” has given greater significance to trade facilitation.Research on the issue of trade facilitation will significantly affect China's trade level with countries along the route and will have a significant impact on the smooth implementation of the “One Belt and One Road” strategic concept. Therefore,if we want to successfully implement the “One Belt and One Road” strategic vision,we must focus on improving the level of trade facilitation as an important task, and promote regional cooperation through the promotion of trade facilitation, and help the implementation of the “Belt and Road” strategy.Based on a detailed analysis of the current status of trade facilitation in countries along the “Belt and Road”,this topic introduces trade facilitation indicators on the traditional gravity model, based on panel data from 54 countries along “the Belt and Road” line for 2011-2016,using Eviews9.0.The software performs empirical analysis to show how different indicators affecting trade facilitation affect the level of trade between China and countries along “the Belt and Road”.Finally,on the basis of empirical research, combined with China's current status of trade facilitation, specific targeted policy recommendations are proposed in terms of infrastructure construction, customs clearance efficiency, and institutional environment.
