A Research Of Impact Of Trade Facilitation On China's Export To Countrtes Along The Belt And Road

In recent years,through bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations,countries in the world are accelerating the process of trade liberalization,and the world tariff has also been drastically cut.But with substantial tariff cuts,economic benefits brought by the tariff become no longer significant.However,as a kind of invisible barriers to the market,the"non-efficient factors" of trade activities,such as cumbersome cross-border procedures,complex processes,are drawing more and more attention from international organizations and governments.In order to cope with these negative factors in international trade,Countries widely and actively promote the process of trade facilitation,which can reduce the cost of cross-border trade,and promote interests of their own country.The issue of trade facilitation is very necessary,especially taking actual situation of China's domestic trade policy into consideration.Now our country's export trade is still an important engine for the economic development of our country,and it's position in the world market has been rising,but in recent years,China's foreign trade has experienced import and export "double down"situation;Our "The Belt and Road" strategy has greatly enriched our foreign trade and opening system,and favorably developed potentialities between China and the countries along the Belt and Road,with introducing opportunities of development for the countries along the Belt and Road,promoting the rapid development of the local economy.However,taking into account that the level of trade facilitation in the region is relatively backward,and differs greatly,which will hold back the export trade flow of china.So the core content of this article:on the basis of analyzing in detail the trade facilitation of the countries along the Belt and Road,we quote the gravity model to explore the influence of different indicators which are key components of trade facilitation on our country's trade flow effects.Finally,on the basis of the empirical research,this paper puts forward the concrete policy recommendations according to China's present situationin in development of trade facilitation.The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the background,significance,literature review,structure arrangement,innovation and deficiency of this paper.Through the summary of a large number of relevant literature,this paper focuses on the "The Belt and Road" strategy as the research background of trade facilitation,and strives to describe the situation of trade facilitation by objective index.The second part describs the relationship between trade costs and trade facilitation,which leads to narrow and broad trade facilitation definitions,and integrates mainstream concept definitions from domestic and foreign scholars and international economic organizations on trade facilitation,making the evaluation on the essential connotation,explaining the selection of the main influencing factors of trade facilitation,which is described in this paper to provide a basis for the following parts.The third part:clarifys our efforts made to promote trade facilitation and the current situation of trade facilitation level in countries along the Belt and Road,the problems existing in the process of promoting trade facilitation,the present situation of China's export trade and China to countries along the the Belt and Road.The whole third chapter lays the foundation for the following empirical analysis.The fourth part is the empirical analysis of the impact of trade facilitation on China's export trade,based on the background of "The Belt and Road" strategy.This part quotes the extended gravity model of trade,and uses panel data from 2005 to 2014 to do research about impact of the level of trade facilitation in countries along The Belt and Road on China's export trade by size and degree.The results show that:Firstly,the total GDP of our country and other importing countries and the distance variable between two countries between our country and are still important factors affecting China's export trade;Secondly,in the environment of trade facilitation of The Belt and Road,the hardware facilities,including trade related infrastructure and information technology infrastructure are proved to be more significant than "soft environment",like institutional environment,when it comes to impact on trade flow of our country.Thirdly,the function of tariff is small compared with effect of trade facilitation;Fourthly,according to the results from empirical research that the establishment of the FTA can promote the growth of trade,although combined with the country's overall environment,the establishment of the FTA should be careful consideration.The fifth part is the conclusion and suggestions.Based on the previous chapter,this chapter puts forward the whole conclusion and policy suggestions of promoting trade facilitation in China.The innovation of this paper lies that:firstly,the current domestic research on The Belt and Road "strategy is limited to qualitative research,empirical analysis in terms of export trade flow related to" The Belt and Road" strategy is rare in our country,and integration between trade facilitation and" The Belt and Road" strategy is much less,which is a breakthrough;secondly,this paper selects components of trade facilitation mainly by objective data in case that perceptual datas from various international organizations are used like past scholars,with factors related to trade facilitation separated and measured respective influence on trade flow.
