Influence Of Green Trade Barriers To Henan's Exports Of Agricultural Products

With China's accession to the WTO of the World Organization,the market for agricultural products is becoming more and more open and the competition for agricultural products has gradually expanded to the international market.Our country will also enhance the competitiveness of agricultural products in the primary position for the development of agriculture.Henan Province is a big agricultural province in China.Henan's total grain output has accounted for 1/10 of the total output of the country for many years in a row,making a great contribution to food security across the country and can be compared to a granary in the country.However,according to reports,from 2001 to 2012,the proportion of Henan's agricultural exports has been less than 2% of the national total.In recent years,the share of Henan's agricultural products has risen sharply,but there is a big gap between Guangdong and Shandong in the export of agricultural products.This contrast has caused us to think deeply.Henan Province,in the course of export of agricultural products,suffered from the harsh green barriers such as pesticide residue standards and packaging.Green trade barriers have caused many problems facing agricultural exports in Henan Province.What should Henan do in the face of green trade barriers? Previous studies rarely studied the green barriers encountered by export trade in Henan Province,and the empirical analysis of the impact of green barriers on the export trade in Henan Province was even less.This is also the need of this study.Based on the theory of international trade protection and the data of agricultural exports affected by green trade barriers in Henan Province,this article uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to study.First,in the related theoretical analysis of green trade barriers,the forms,characteristics,and mechanisms of green trade barriers are studied and summarized.Secondly,combined with the status quo of Henan agricultural exports,analyze the various reasons that Henan Province agricultural products are affected by green barriers.Then,from two aspects of theory and demonstration,this paper analyzes the impact of green trade barriers on the export of agricultural products in Henan Province.It is argued that the impact of green barriers on the export of agricultural products in Henan Province should be viewed dialectically.If the aim is protect the ecological environment and promote green consumption,the green barriers are reasonable and the green barriers can only explain their own deficiencies.But if it is the pretext of protecting the living environment and human health,it only protects domestic agricultural products,it should be condemned and boycotted.Finally,based on the results of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,the macro and micro perspectives are proposed to promote the export of agricultural products in Henan Province.
