Research On The Countermeasures Of Foshan Investment Promotion Under The New Normal

In China,attracting investment has become an significant and reliable support for urban economic development with remarkable promotion for industrial transformation and upgrading,increasing local economic aggregates,improving economic development structure,and expanding social employment capacity.It is also encountering a more challenging and unprecedented situation as China has entered a “New Normal” state with medium-high economic growth and economic structure optimization.Foshan is the third largest city in Guangdong which has now become an industry-oriented city of manufacture and industry with its geopolitical and geographical advantage and the pioneering spirit of reform and innovation.Under the above-mentioned background,this article firstly combines the domestic and international literature review of government economic functions and government's functions in attracting investment activities,illustrates the research significance and research ideas.Secondly,it discusses the concept of the new normal and related theories,the significance of the new normal features and government economic functions to the work of attracting investment;Then from the development status of economic industries and attract capital,Foshan City,analyzed the advantages to attract investment practice of Foshan City,the new normal,weaknesses,opportunities and challenges;and then summed present characteristics of the country to attract investment activities under the new normal and Foshan attract investment policies and Trends,analysis of problems in Foshan's investment attraction;Finally,based on the above analysis,under the background of the new normal,the government will further innovate the concept of attracting investment,change the function of attracting foreign investment,optimize the investment attraction environment,coordinate investment policies,enhance the overall competitiveness of foreign investment,and effectively improve the quality and effectiveness of Foshan's investment attraction.During the round of economic restructuring and transitional development,it seized the opportunity to achieve new breakthroughs in the work of attracting investment.
