The Transnational Studies About Duration Of Export In Manufacturing Industry

We know that China's emergence as a global manufacturing power.However,China is still facing some challenges in manufacturing export.On the one hand,there is a gap about product technology between China and developed countries.On the other hand,China has losing the advantage of labor cost to compare with emerging and developing countries such as Indian and Vietnam.Therefore,it is especially important for China to stabilize manufacturing exports.In recent years,the research of trade relationship's duration becomes a new field,but there is no literature to study the segmentation of manufacturing industry in this field.This paper want to study the duration of trade relationships in the segmentation of manufacturing industry.Based on the survive analysis,we use microscopic trade data to study and compare the characteristics of the duration of major global exporters in manufacturing industry.The paper finds that,China has longer trade duration in manufacturing industry than other countries.The segmentation of manufacturing industry of China is different in the median survival and survival rate,as well as death rate.We should think highly of the segmentation of manufacturing industry,which have low survival and high death rate.To those segmentation of manufacturing industry which is unstable in the beginning of trade,government should help them to enhance their ability in trade.
