This paper studies labor standards and China’s manufactured goods trade. On the basis of analyzing the current situation of labor standards and manufactured exports in China, we study the influence of labor standards over manufactured exports by empirical analysis.Firstly, the article surveys international and domestic theoretical literatures on labor standards, making conclusions that there are two opinions, one is that establish the correlation between labor standards and trade, the other is opposite.Then we review some concepts related labor standards, such as international labor standards, core labor standards and basic labor convention, and make a research on how many labor convention we have accepted and how our labor standards carried on in our manufacturing industryIn third chapter we analyze whether the international trade should link together with labor standards, what are the different opinions between developing country and developed country.In fourth chapter, we analyze three levels of China’s manufacturing exports situation:the export profile, the export structure, the structure of manufacturing exports.Finally, based on the data from1980to2010, the article makes empirical study of autoregressive model, Co-integration model and Grange. Average increase rate in manufacturing employees’wage, child labor and the female labor force participation rate, We use these factors to study the influence of the labor standards over manufacturing export. Then makes some suggestions based on the conclusions above.
