The Research On The Improvement Of The Performance Evaluation Indicators For Highway Construction Project In G Company

The construction industry is the basic industry of the people's livelihood.Whenever it plays an indispensable role in the development of the national economy,the research object of this paper is the highway construction industry which is one of the sub-sectors of the construction industry.At present,China's economic development has begun to transform,the pace of economic development began to slow down,but the goods transport and personnel travel on the road demand is still very large,which for the road construction industry has brought opportunities and challenges.Project system is the basic business model of enterprises within the industry,is the basic unit to create economic benefits,how to improve the project management mechanism related to the overall performance of the enterprise.Performance evaluation as an important means of modern enterprise project management,in the highway construction enterprises have also been widely used.However,many performance evaluation systems often exist in the form of current,lack of theoretical support,subjective and other issues.Therefore,managers should aim at the characteristics of highway construction projects,select the appropriate performance evaluation theory as a guide,design a more scientific and reasonable project performance evaluation indicators and standards,to build a set of accurate and effective evaluation of information projects Performance evaluation system.The existing performance evaluation system of the G company,the object company under study of this paper,has several problems such as the lack of theoretical support,strong subjectivity and the index is comprehensive and in lack of pertinence etc.Based on the popular BSC theory,this paper specifically designed a new KPI system to satisfy the industry characteristics of the G company and its strategic requirements and project contents as well.And the AHP theory is used to determine the weight of index.Then,this new KPI system is applied in practice to the evaluation of two projects of G company.This KPI system established has validated the validity of the method based on AHP theory.It reflects the characteristics of the industry and not only meets the needs of G company for project evaluation but also provides certain reference for the project performance evaluation of other companies in the industry.
