Since the 1990 s,under the impetus of economic globalization and world economic integration,China's communication equipment manufacturers began to implement the strategy of internationalization.Whether the internationalization of enterprises can promote business performance has always been the focus of top executives and scholars at home and abroad.Foreign scholars usually take manufacturers in the developed and developing countries as a research object and study the impact of degree of internationalization on business performance to explain the reason of enterprises' internationalization through the empirical analysis,but very little literature dedicated to the communication equipment manufacturers;domestic scholars study the impact of enterprises' internationalization on business performance mainly through theory and case study,but empirical study is very scarce.On the basis of the available literature,this thesis is going to building conceptual model of degree of internationalization,enterprise specific advantages(including technical advantage,marketing superiority),control variables(enterprise scale,asset structure and enterprise age)and performance,then making three assumptions.SPSS and Stata statistical software are used to carry out multiple regression analysis of 378 samples of 126 communication equipment manufacturers in China from 2013 to 2015 to test three hypotheses.Based on the above discussion,this thesis draws the following conclusions: Firstly,degree of internationalization of communication equipment manufacturers has no significant effect on performance.Secondly,the technical advantage has positive effect on performance.Thirdly,the marketing superiority has no significant impact on performance.In addition,ZTE is taken as an example to analyze the internationalization process,the internal and external environment,the strategies in the internationalization process,and study the influence of ZTE's degree of internationalization on the performance.Finally,to provide suggestions for the future international operations of communication equipment manufacturers based on results.In this thesis,the research has the following innovations: Firstly,this thesis aims at the specific industry analyzing impact of degree of internationalization on performance,and it is more targeted;Secondly,to make up for the lack of empirical study and case study in existing literature.
