Research Into The Intelligent Transformation Of A State-owned Bank's Sub-branch In The Downtown Area Of Chengdu

In recent years,with the rapid development of the Internet,it sees a speedy advancement in the field of Financial science and technology innovation with the support from national policies.Facing such situation,Commercial Banks begins to organize some researches and the applications of this new technology.The transformation of bank's physical sub-branches has become a subject studied by experts and scholars at home and overseas.Based on true cases and a large amount of data,this paper studies the trend in the development of the sub-branches of a large state-owned commercial bank in Chengdu after years of operation,and analyzes the underlying causes,trying to find out the right way for the transformation and the countermeasures for tackling the possible problems,and setting examples for the same type of physical sub-branches of Commercial Banks.The theoretical significance of this paper lies in the fact that the research enriches the empirical study of transformation.The practical significance is to trace the path suitable for the transformation of urban branches that have opened for many years through case studies,and,meanwhile,to make some suggestions for the operating strategies in promoting the development of the sub-branches after the transformation.It is generally agreed by Scholars overseas and at home that the transformation of Commercial Banks' sub-branches and its intelligentization are inevitable,and the author of this paper shares that opinion.Yet,there lacks the relevant researches on the topics such as the right process for transformation,or the proper way for administration after transformation.In this paper,the author tries to shed some new light on those questions.This paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which puts forward the research background and aim of the paper,relevant researches and the methods,the highlights and creative features of the paper.The second chapter defines the main concept and explains the basic theory.The third chapter deals with the influences of technological innovation imposed on the bank sub-branch transformation,as well as the applications of the innovations made by the commercial banks.The fourth chapter focuses on the case study and data analysis,applying the SWOT method to find out the reasons for the low growth of the traditional bank business and inefficiency for transformation.The fifth chapter suggests the countermeasures for the transformation of commercial Banks' sub-branches using the financial science and technology.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part of this paper,and proposes a prospect for the later development.The case study of the sub-branch in this paper is typical of those operated by large state-owned Banks.By researching into its transformation,it sheds light on the transformation of commercial Banks' similar sub-branches.
