Investigation And Countermeasure Research On The Development Of Chinese Herbal Medicine Industry In Qingyang City

Qingyang is the birthplace of Qihuang culture.Chinese herbal medicine has a long history of cultivation and abundant resources,but species distribution,planting scale,processing and industrial chain construction are not completely clear.Currently,only 68 species of the Chinese herbal medicine included in Chinese Pharmacopoeia were planted in Qingyang.The planting and processing industries in Qingyang did not form a scale,and the Chinese herbal medicine industry developed slowly.In this thesis,I investigated the development status of Chinese herbal medicine industry in 8 counties of Qingyang from 2010 to 2017,by using field visiting,field surveys,telephone interviews and the planting datas of Chinese herbal medicines.The basic situation of cultivation,processing and industrial chain construction and the bottleneck in the development of Qingyang Chinese herbal medicine industry were analyzed,and proposed corresponding countermeasures for the existing problems.The results will provide a scientific basis for the rapid and healthy development of Chinese herbal medicine industry in Qingyang.The main results are as follows:1.The survey results of Qingyang Chinese herbal medicine planting status showed that Qingyang Chinese herbal medicines are abundent in variety,and there are 4 major categories of 1258 flavored main herbs(including: plant 998 flavor,animal 246 flavor).At present,there are 50 species of Chinese herbal medicines manually planted with a large area,whereas only 2 species of breeding and 1 specie of mining materials.A total of 161 professional cooperatives for the cultivation of Chinese herbal medicines were established,and 29 bases above designated size and 4 demonstration bases were built.In 2017,the planting area of Qingyang Chinese herbal medicine exceeded 200,000 mu,and the output exceeded 100,000 tons in the past three years,but the planting technology was relatively backward,with an average yield of only 554.47 kg/mu.2.Through the visit to Qingyang Chinese herbal medicine processing enterprises,22 pharmaceutical companies and preparation institutions have been established,including 2 pharmaceutical enterprises,5 food processing enterprises,6 Chinese medicine industrial enterprises,7 original drug distribution enterprises and 2 preparation agencies.At present,there is no large and medium-sized medicinal materials trading market in Qingyang City.There are 54 stores provided for exclusive and collection of Chinese herbal medicine,and about 500 Chinese herbal medicine workers in trading market in Qingyang City.3.Through field investigation and data analysis,it can be seen that the lack of endogenous power,uncharacteristic varieties,low management level,incomplete GAP(good agricultural norms)system and unsound industrial chain are the main problems facing the development of Qingyang city Chinese herbal medicine industry.For these problems,it is necessary to further expand the scale of agricultural orders for Chinese herbal medicines,and establish a combination of production,education and research,which is dominated by Longdong College,to improve the level of scientific planting and scientific processing management,and to expand the poverty alleviation model of “leading enterprises + cooperatives + poor households”.We will build a whole industry chain service system centered on the information exchange platform of Chinese herbal medicines and the modern trading market to achieve healthy development of the industry.
