E-commerce can effectively ease the difficulties of commodity exchange for people in rural areas.In recent year,rural e-commerce in our country has been in rapid development with the promotion of governments and electric business enterprise.However,the undeveloped logistics delivery system has become a major obstacle compared to the great potential of rural e-commerce markets.Extension of the rural e-commerce delivery terminals from the densely populated areas to sparsely populated areas has led to higher costs,while UA(Unmanned Aircraft)can reach those areas more easily with its flexibility and low cost.Using UA in rural e-commerce logistics can reduce cost and improve the efficiency.Therefore,it's of great significance to investigate the possibility of using UA in rural e-commerce logistics,which can improve rural e-commerce logistics network and bridging the urban-rural gap.This study took e-commerce logistics and UA logistics as the goal,and developed a mixed delivery model,which consists of various delivery method such as vehicles only,UA only,and vehicles with UA.The vehicle-UA method can combine the advantages of both vehicles and UA,improve the efficiency and reduce costs significantly.This study analyzed the concept,features and current situation of e-commerce logistics delivery and UA logistics delivery as well as the policy trends of UA delivery,raising the question of the optimization of “vehicle-UA”delivery path in e-commerce logistics.Afterwards,the vehicle-UA-based e-commerce delivery network was built and its operation process being made clear based on analysis of current UA delivery mode,operation process and traditional e-commerce logistics delivery network in rural areas.An optimized delivery path model under different delivery methods was built based on the research of CVRP(capacitated vehicle routing problem)?HFVRP(heterogeneous fleet vehicle routing problem)?LRP(location routing problem).The model was illustrated by case study solved by Genetic Algorithm and Tabu Search Algorithm,and results showed that adopting UA in e-commerce logistics delivery couldlower the delivery costs and mixed methods were preferred.
