Research On Deng Xiaoping's Thought On Agricultural Development

Three Rural Issues(farmers,agriculture and rural areas)are the biggest difficulties for our country to realize modernization,the most difficult mission for our country to construct a well-off society and directly affect the realization of agricultural modernization.From the foresight and long-term view of a strategist,Deng Xiaoping,as a great ideologist and statesman,attached importance to agriculture,gave priority to rural areas.He emphasized that agriculture was the root of the country and the premise of the survive of people and our nation.In the meantime,he paid attention to the process of the reform and development of agriculture,thought and designed the grand blueprint for the development of agricultural modernization in our country.There are no lack of profound elaboration in his series of important speeches which constitute the agricultural development thoughts with an integral theoretical system,open development space,deeply connotations,efficiency and practice.This thought has an important theoretical status and is an exploration for agricultural development path and mode under socialism with Chinese characteristics.After many years of socialist reform,reading up on and analyzing Deng Xiaoping' thought on agricultural development still have profound significance under the magnificent background of the promotion of new socialist countrysides and the overall settlement of Three Rural Issues,as well as in the face of the active development modern agriculture and the reinforcement of new rural industrial foundation.The thesis conducts a study of Deng Xiaoping's Thought on agricultural development from five parts.The first part is composed of the introduction,research background,research purpose and significance as well as the research status.The second part has carried on the basic elaboration to Deng Xiaoping's agricultural development thought's scientific connotation and the theory origin,mainly includes the scientific connotation of Deng Xiaoping's agricultural development thought,Marx,Engels' agricultural development thought,Mao Zedong's thought of agricultural development is the source of Deng Xiaoping's thought of agricultural development.The third part summarizes the background of Deng Xiaoping's thought of agricultural development,the content and characteristics of Deng Xiaoping's thought of agricultural development,including a fundamental,a key point,two reliance,"two leaps",and the reality and scientific nature of agricultural development in China.Foresight.The fourth part mainly discusses the historical effect of Deng Xiaoping's agricultural development thought.Theoretically,these thoughts guide China's agricultural development to achieve remarkable achievements,provided theoretical direction for the development of rural economy in China from four aspects.The fifth part analyzes the realistic enlightenment of Deng Xiaoping's thought of agricultural development,and insists on the concept of basic strategic position of agriculture and the principle of moderate development.Adhere to Deng Xiaoping's thought of promoting agriculture by science and technology and the thought of planning urban and rural areas as a whole by Deng Xiaoping.In the part of conclusion,the main points of this paper and the shortcomings of this paper are summarized.
