In order to maintain the dominant position in the fierce market competition,the company needs to develop and expand continuously.Impression management behavior,as a kind of positive promoting sexual behavior,is not only beneficial to improve staff work enthusiasm and initiative,innovation and development to the organization also has a great role in promoting,and for employees' interpersonal and health of body and mind development has a positive impact.As an active role,the external motivation of impression management is one of the important factors influencing employee impression management behavior.As the manager in the organization,different leadership styles have a certain influence on the voice behavior of employees.This study from the perspective of people-situation interaction theory,USES the mature scale and questionnaire,discussed under the background of Chinese enterprises in the authoritarian leadership style to employees the effects of impression management behavior mechanism.Appeared for the first time since the authoritarian leadership since the concept of the management trait,revolves around an authoritarian leadership research has many scholars both at home and abroad,but in view of the authoritarian leadership,external motivation,and study of relationship between impression management.Impression management behavior is closely connected with enterprise development,and related to personal relationships and health of body and mind,and impression management is a breakthrough in enterprise one of the important factors,so how to motivate the staff's impression management behavior becomes crucial.In this paper,based on the author's understanding of the current team management situation of company A and the basic situation,historical evolution,operating conditions and organizational structure of company A,the case events of company A were reviewed and analyzed,and it was concluded that the authoritarian leader had positive influence on the external motivation and impression management.Then,based on the theoretical model of human-situation interaction and the theory of interpersonal expectation,this paper mainly discusses the influencing factors between authoritarian leadership and external motivation as well as impression management behavior.In this study,authoritarian leadership is taken as an independent variable,external motivation as a mediating variable,and impression management as a dependent variable,and an integration model with mediating variables is constructed.Finally adopt the way of questionnaire survey,mainly on three research institute in southwest of r&d staff and their immediate supervisor to investigate,with authoritarian leadership scale,external motivation scale,impression management scale as the main investigation scale,using SPSS20.0 and MPLUS7.0 software for data reliability analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,regression analysis,etc.This paper studies the influence of authoritarian leadership on employee impression management behavior in Chinese context,and the intermediary role of employee external motivation between "authoritarian leaderimpression management behavior".The results show that :(1)the authoritarian leader has positive influence on the subordinate's impression management behavior;(2)authoritarian leadership has a positive influence on the external motivation of subordinates;(3)external motivation of subordinates has positive influence on impression management behavior;(4)external motivation of subordinates mediates the relationship between authoritarian leadership and impression management.When the authoritarian leadership behavior is more obvious,the external motivation behavior of employees is more prominent,thus promoting the enhancement of impression management ability of employees.
