Referring to leadership, people tend to think of "power", because leaders always have power. Authoritarian leadership widely exists in Chinese enterprises. Though leadership and power is inseparable, the leadership does not mean power. Admittedly, leadership and power are inseparable, but leadership doesn't equal power. Leadership is a multi-dimensional concept, and one of its dimensions, service, attracts more and more attention of management researchers and management practices, and servant leadership get more concern. In this study we based on these two kinds of leadership style and the influence of subordinates.Based on the review of authoritarian leadership, servant leadership, leader-member exchange work performances and work attitudes, this study seeks to examine the relationship between authoritarian leadership and employees'performance and the relationship between servant leadership and employees'work attitudes. Moreover, we seek to explore the moderating effect of LMX on relationship between leadership and employees'outcomes.In this study the data is collected through questionnaire survey with scientific methods, and the sample contains 253 employees and 52 leaders of 15 different enterprises in Shenzhen. The software AMOS7.0 and SPSS 16.0 are used to do data analysis. Firstly, we evaluated the reliability of scales; secondly, we tested the degree of differentiation between 8 variables involved in this study; thirdly, we tested the correlation between all the variables with descriptive statistical analysis; finally, we tested all the hypotheses in this study with regression analysis.Our study found that authoritarian leadership will negative influence on employees'performance and leader-member exchange quality, and leader-member exchange quality has improved this negative influence; servant leadership will have positive effects of employees'work attitude and leader-member exchange quality, and leader-member exchange quality will improve this positive influence.
