The rapid growth of Company AC in recent years has raised more demanding requirements on its performance management system.As the cornerstone for a company's core competitiveness,performance management becomes increasingly important for company decision makers.AC company's performance management system adopted in different phases could become outdated after a certain period of time as the management concepts and trends change with each passing day,particularly when noticeable problems occur in the performance appraisal system of the company's administrative departments.Company AC's administrative departments encounter many problems in performance appraisal in recent years,for example,difficulties in measuring complicated department work,lack of differentiation between performance appraisal results across different administrative departments,and employees' complaints like “the more responsibilities taken,the more blame received”.These facts indicate that Company AC's performance appraisal system is in a sense not incentive,fair,and effective.The vague appraisal goals and non-differentiated appraisal results drag Company AC's appraisal system into a vicious cycle,resulting in low employee morale.This thesis details Company AC's performance appraisal system over the latest eight years with analysis on its positive and negative aspects after every reform took place on the appraisal system,demonstrating Company AC's relentless efforts on improving its performance appraisal system and providing reference methodologies and concrete measures for solving the crux of performance appraisal system across a company's administrative departments.Based on Company AC's strategic goals,this thesis provides in-depth insight on Company AC's performance appraisal system across different administrative departments,offering vivid cases on the development of the performance appraisal system of a modern military enterprise and defects of Company AC's current performance appraisal system.This thesis aims to find a solution to continuously improve Company AC's performance appraisal system,drill down enterprise-level business goals into employees' responsibilities,appraise the performance of administrative departments with concrete and measurable criteria,monitor and control the completion status and problems of performance appraisal in a timely manner,and motivate employees to engage more in support for the execution of management and operational decisions.
