With the slowing economy?production overcapacity and tightening relevant national policy,the domestic iron and steel enterprises have been facing with adverse factors such as increasing financial cost and environmental cost since 2011.Especially when the steel prices were below the cost line,banks tightened their lending policies,the requirements of environmental protection were more and more strict in 2015,many domestic steel enterprises were put on a survival footing.How to take advantages of lower procurement costs has become an important topic in the sight of iron and steel enterprises.From the perspective of supply stability,and economical cost,combined with the author's practical experiences,this paper analyzes the X Company in the lubricating grease purchasing and supplier management problems through interviews and questionnaires,and puts forward some references for improvements.Concrete research content is as follows:In the first part,this paper introduces the theories about supply chain management,supplier management in supply chain,the indexes and methods of supplier selection,and focus on the application of analytic hierarchy process in supplier management,introduces the recent procurement research results at home and abroad of supply chain.In the second part,this paper mainly introduces the situation and asks questions.It introduces the overall structure of X Company,the structure of procurement department,the purchasing process of the lubricating grease,the situation of supplier management,and proposes some problems of supplier management and the effects from it.In the third part,combined the specifics of X Company,some further improvements were proposed form the prospective of supplier evaluations and selection,supplier performance reviews and incentives.The detailed steps follows: establish evaluation and assessment teams,collect data,put forward the new supplier selection and evaluation index system,use the combination of qualitative and quantitative analytic hierarchy process to the analysis of the relevant data and draw the conclusions.In the fourth part,this paper estimates the expected effects of the improved supplier management using supply chain management thinking.The lubrication grease supplier selection and evaluation system proposed by this paper not only can improve the lubrication grease X Company supplier management,suppliers of other products and other similar state-owned enterprises also have certain reference and reference significance.
