The Choice And Maintenance Of Supplier In The Supply Chain Management

As the springhead of supply chain, the importance of supplier is mainly reflected in supplier's relation management and supplier selection. Supplier selection is an important content of Supply Chain Management and is the foundation of supplier collaborative relationship.Influenced by the thought of traditional purchase, our country has not built up a set of normal suppliers performance evaluation system yet. On the base of forefathers study, combined with the concrete reality of enterprises comprehensively, this paper set up a supplier evaluation index system for supply chain management. This system has absorbed the quintessence of forefathers study, and made great efforts to overcome their deficiency, examined suppliers from three aspects:enterprise's product competitiveness, inside competitiveness and prestige. This system has contained the supplier`s production performance, technological performance, human resources, financial situation, management level, and external environment. The biggest characteristic of this system is designed to fit SCM, and reflects more particularly and roundly synthesis factors in supplier selection. It provides a theory for enterprise to select suppliers.One sound supplier evaluation index system must be furnished with a scientific appraisal method, and appraisal results are made accurately and rationally. The traditional supplier selection method is simpler and coarse, and apt to be influenced by human factor. This paper sets up supplier appraise model of FAHP, through instance examine, it can be find out the supplier appraisal system and method of this paper is very accurate, and accords with the objective reality.At last, this dissertation simply studied the problem of management and mantainace of the relationship with suppliers. Because of limited time, the study was not deeply enough, it will be developed in the future.
