| Sabina squamata(Buch.-Hamilt.)Ant is geared to the genus Sabina.The genus contained a variety of species and pharmacological activities.They also owned a plenty of constituents and distributed widely.Excoecaria venenata is geared to the genus Excoecaria.The genus is a shrub endemic to China,mainly distributed in the Katst region of southwest China,and has been used as a folk medicine to cure psoriasis and chronic eczema.The thesis is consisted of five chapters.Chapter 1 mainly described the chemical constituents of the Sabina squamata.Chapter 2 mainly summarized the chemical constituents of the Excoecaria venenata.Chapter 3 mainly overviewed the cytotoxic activity of the above mentioned two plants.Chapter 4 is a review on the study of the constituents and pharmacological activities from the genus Sabina.Chapter 5 is about foreground and prospect.The constituents of Sabina squamata were isolated by silica gel,Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography,reversed-phase HPLC and their structures were identified by ESI,EI,NMR and so on.26 compounds were isolated from Sabina squamata and the structure included terpenoids,flavonoids,lignans,coumarins,steroids and fatty acids.The compounds were identified as sandaracopimeric acid(1),3?-hydroxysandaracopimeric acid(2),sugiol(3),torreyol(4),(-)-loliolide(5),5-hydroxy-4’,7-dimethoxuflavone(6),acacetin(7),(2R,3R)-(-)-dihydroquercetin-3-O-?-D-xylopyranoside(8),dihydromyricetin(9),noreugenin(10),5,7-dihydroxy-2-methylchromone-7-O-?-D-glucoside(11),cupressuflavone(12),(7S,8R)-threo-4,7,9-tri-hydroxy-3,3’-dimethoxy-8-O-4’-neolignan-9’-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(13),(7R,8R)-threo-4,7,9-trihydroxy-3,3’-dimethoxy-8-O-4’-neolignan-9’-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(14),(7R,8R)-threo-4,7,9-trihydroxy-3,3’-dimethoxy-8-O-4’-neolignan-9’-O-?-D-rhamnopyranoside(15),(7S,8R)-threo-3’,9,9-trihydroxy-3-me thoxy-4’,7-epoxy-neolignan-4-O-?-L-rhamnopyranoside(16),(+)-isolariciresinol-9-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(17),(-)-isolariciresinol-9-O-?-D-rhamnopyranoside(18),aviculin(19),cis-cinnamyl alcohol 9-O-(6-O-?-L-arabinofuranosyl)-?-D-glucopyranoside(20),rosavin(21),3,4,5-trimethoxyphenylpropanol(22),3,4,5-trimethoxycinna mic alcohol(23),onadecanoic acid-2,3-dihydroxypropylester(24),?-sitosterol(25),daucosterol(26).Among them,the compound 18 was a new lignan,and except compounds 3 and 24,the other compounds were isolated from Sabina squamata for the first time.A new daphnane diterpenoid,Venenatin(9),along with sixteen known compounds,was isolated from the aerial parts of Excoecaria venenata.These compounds were isolated from 95% ethanol extract and respectively identified as quercetin(1),kaempferol(2),(+)-catechin(3),fraxin(4),apocynol A(5),baccatin(6),cerevisterol(7),N-benzoylL-phenylalaninyl-N-benzoyl-L-phenylalaninate(8),Venenatin(9),ent-13-epi-8,13-epoxy-2,3-secolabd-14-ene-2,3-di-oic acid(10),ellagic acid(11),3,3’,4’-tri-O-methylellagic acid(12),protocatechuic acid(13),gallic acid(14),methyl gallate(15),ethyl gallate(16),glyceroyl monopalmitate(17).Except the compound 14,all the other compounds were isolated from Excoecaria venenata for the first time.Pharmacological activities indicated that in the crude extracts of Sabina squamata,the chloroform extract and the ethyl acetate extract showed apparent cytotoxic activity.Several compounds isolated from Excoecaria venenata showed moderate anti-proliferation activities on tumor cells: quercetin(1),kaempferol(2),gallic acid(14).Therefore,the antitumor active components of Excoecaria venenata were flavonoids and phenolic acids. |
