Aluminum alloy low-pressure casting is an advanced molding technology.Its castings are light in weight and dense in crystal grains.Therefore,they are widely used in the aviation industry and other fields.For a certain aluminum alloy shell casting problems,including the difficulty of mold modeling,in low-pressure casting,the impact of process parameters on the quality of the casting is complex,resulting in difficult casting molding,and prone to defects.In order to obtain the ideal casting performance of the aluminum alloy casting,thesis optimized the design of the low-pressure casting process of the casting.In this study,by analyzing the structure and performance requirements of the shell castings,a low-pressure casting process scheme using a combination of 3D printing sand core and resin sand molding was designed.Predict the possible defects of the castings by preliminary setting the process parameters of low-pressure casting,and study the casting process through numerical simulation techniques.The orthogonal test was designed using the process parameters as variables and the quality of the casting as targets.The main process parameters affecting the casting performance were determined,and their influence on the quality of castings was analyzed.Through establishing the neural network model between the main process parameters and the quality of the castings,and employing the genetic algorithm optimized process parameters in their whole range.The results of this study found that changes in the pouring temperature can significantly affect the quality of the casting.The rising speed of the liquid,the filling speed and the holding pressure will have different degrees of influence on the quality of the casting.The numerical analysis of the optimization results shows that the optimized low-pressure casting process can significantly improve the casting performance of the casting.In the low-pressure casting process design of the shell casting,properly increasing the pouring temperature and the maintaining pressure,and reducing the filling speed will help improve the quality of the casting.The optimized process parameters were used in the practical casting production test,and related test analysis was performed to verify that this article is reasonable for the lowpressure casting process design of the casting and can improve the quality of the casting.Therefore,research has theoretical significance and practical application value,which can provide reference for research in related fields.
