Due to the long time duration,obsolete equipment defects,low operation performance,high production energy consumption,unskilled operation of workers from company A,the technical improvement is carried out on the basis of the existing ammonia plant from natural gas in this paper,which is focused on the actual problems encountered by Company A,Energy-saving technology and new operating equipment are adopted in ammonia synthesis plant.The ammonia synthesis device adopts the high-efficiency,low-resistance DC ammonia synthesis tower internal parts,membrane separation and hydrogen extraction and other energy-saving technologies and new operating equipment of nanjing jutuo chemical technology co.,LTD.,and pays attention to the flexibility of operation in the process,makes full use of the new technology,and carries out certain transformation for the old device.After the renovation of the synthesis plant,the goal of increasing the annual output of ammonia synthesis by 150,000 tons was achieved,so that the ammonia synthesis plant could reach the annual production capacity of 350,000 tons and meet the requirements of subsequent organic chemical projects.In this paper,the process status of ammonia synthesis at home and abroad is fully elaborated,the process flow of natural gas production of ammonia synthesis is introduced in detail,and the specific process of energy saving transformation using 15.0mpa low-pressure ammonia synthesis technology is analyzed and determined.The energy loss is mainly concentrated in the compressor unit and ammonia synthesis tower.The technology of the synthesis system was optimized,and the idea of energy saving of the whole system was put forward by replacing the internal expansion of DC type synthesis tower.On the basis of reloading and reducing catalyst,the exhaust gas system of the synthesis system was reformed,and the membrane separation and hydrogen extraction technology was used to further realize the high efficiency and energy saving of the synthesis device.Modified process and operation of ammonia synthetic tower data show that the system can reduce the resistance of 0.3MPa,the natural gas compressor play volume increase after 21500 m/h increase to 24000 m after/h lower content of inert gas in reactor(syngas hydrogen nitrogen ratio increase)decreased obviously,improve the efficiency of ammonia synthesis catalyst,and synthetic ammonia production by 410 tons a day,the whole raw material consumption per ton of ammonia from 2984 Nm3 / h to 2790 Nm3 / h.Results obtained after the technical transformation :(1)all the technical transformation ran smoothly,and no adverse reactions were found.(2)15MPa low-voltage synthesis is adopted,and the compression and freezing power consumption can be reduced by 785 KW.(3)internal components of DC ammonia synthesis tower were used,and the net value of ammonia was more than 15%.(4)the adoption of membrane hydrogen extraction technology and ammonia synthesis supporting,the annual expenditure can be saved,the new benefits of 36.1083 million yuan.The research results of this paper show that the replacement of internal components of the synthesis tower and the technology of membrane separation and hydrogen extraction can significantly improve the energy saving efficiency of the original equipment of A company,and the economic and social benefits of the energy saving technological transformation are prominent,which can provide useful reference and reference for the energy saving transformation project of the related ammonia synthesis system.
