As an important floor material,carpet has broad development prospects due to its excellent sound insulation and outstanding beautification effects.With the improvement of people's quality of life and the accelerated development of urbanization,the proportion of carpets in home decoration has gradually increased.However,most of the traditional woven carpets are backed and backed by glue.The process is cumbersome,energy consumption is serious,the environment is harmful,and a large amount of toxic gases are generated.The harm to the human body is serious,and volatile gas treatment equipment is required,which increases production costs.In this research,the innovative carpet adhesive method uses in-situ implantation technology to directly cover the hot-melt fiber on the weft yarn,and weave it into the carpet through a loom.After heating and cooling,the effect of bonding piles can be achieved,saving production.Cost and the entire production process will not produce volatile gases.This paper explores the preparation of latex-free woven carpet from three aspects.First,it is modified from raw materials,low-melting point copolyester is selected as the main body,and paraffin wax is used as a modifier to reduce the viscosity of hot melt adhesive by blending modification,Improve the fluidity of the hot melt adhesive,and promote the hot melt adhesive to penetrate into the pile yarn during the hot press bonding process of the carpet to achieve the ideal bonding effect.The results show that the effect is the best when the paraffin wax mass fraction is 10%.At this time,the viscosity of the hot melt adhesive is the smallest,the melt mass flow rate is 53.3 g/10 min,and the bonding strength is 6.04 N.Secondly,in the drying process of latex-free carpet backing,by controlling the single-factor variable method,we explored the factors such as the covering method of core-spun yarn,the amount of weft on the weft,the processing time,the processing temperature,and the processing pressure.The results show that: when the processing temperature is 160 ?,the time is 60 S,the pressure is 0.16 MPa,the sizing amount is 1.52 g/m,the double-coating of the core-spun yarn is the best process.Finally,the latex-free Wilton carpets and traditional adhesive-backed Wilton carpets were tested in bending stiffness,immersion drying dimensional stability,pile pull-out force,wrinkle recovery angle and warpage.The results showed that: latex-free Wilton carpet The carpet has a bending stiffness of 0.61 mN * cm in the weaving direction,a dimensional change rate of0.05%,and a wrinkle recovery angle of 109.5°;a bending stiffness of 5.94 mN * cm in the weft direction,a dimensional change rate of 0.1%,and a wrinkle recovery angle of 114.5°.The flexural stiffness of the traditional Adhesive Wilton carpet in the weaving direction is0.42 m N * cm,the dimensional change is 0.1%,and the wrinkle recovery angle is 99°;thebending stiffness in the weft direction is 1.43mN*cm,and the dimensional change rate is-0.15%,The wrinkle recovery angle is 101°.The average pile pull-out force of latex-free Wilton carpet is 11.1N and warpage is 0.95mm;the average pile pull-out force of traditional rubber-backed Wilton carpet is 6.6N and warpage is 1.35 mm.Latex-free Wilton carpets are superior to traditional gum-backed Wilton carpets in performance.
