As a soft floor material,carpet has broad development prospects due to its advantages of sound insulation,dust absorption,and cushioning bumps.Among them,tufted carpets quickly occupy the market due to the advantages of high labor productivity and low cost.Tufted carpets are mostly coated with latex to fix the tufts,but this traditional gumming process has problems such as low efficiency,high energy consumption,and environmental pollution during drying.In this study,hot-melt adhesive is used as the bonding material,and in-situ implantation technology is used to combine the hot-melt adhesive material with the tufted carpet during the carpet weaving or finishing process.The effect of this kind of carpet pile consolidation method can abandon the latex coating process,and then achieve the effect of protecting the environment and simplifying the production process.This thesis comprehensively studies the physical and chemical properties of copolyamide(PA),copolyester(PES)and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA)three hot melt adhesive interlinings and the quality of their bonded carpet products.The research results show that PA hot melt Fusible interlining is more suitable for bonding nylon tufted carpets.Secondly,research on the in-situ implantation technology of hot-melt adhesive materials for tufted carpets.The research shows that the hot-melt adhesive interlining and the base fabric are flocked together,and then the base fabric is attached for thermal bonding,and the tufted carpet pile Maximum pull-out force.Through the single-factor variable method,the influence of thermal bonding temperature,thermal bonding time,and the amount of hot-melt adhesive interlining on the pull-out force of the carpet pile is explored,and the secondary universal rotation combination design is adopted.The production process is optimized as follows:The thermal bonding temperature is 135?,the thermal bonding time is 104 s,and the laying capacity of the hot-melt adhesive lining is 300 g/m~2.Finally,for the latex-free tufted carpets and traditional adhesive-backed tufted carpets bonded with PA adhesive interlinings under the optimal conditions,the pile pull-out force,backing peeling strength,dimensional stability,wrinkle recovery angle,and warping are performed in accordance with national standards.The results show that the average pile pull-out force of latex-free carpets is 22.72 N,the average pile pull-out force of traditional adhesive-backed carpets is 19.24 N;the backing peeling strength of latex-free carpet production direction is 96.15.N,the peeling strength of the backing perpendicular to the production direction is 119.82 N,the peeling strength of the backing in the traditional adhesive carpet production direction is 24.87 N,and the peeling strength of the backing perpendicular to the production direction is 41.91 N;the dimensional change rate of the latex-free carpet production direction is-0.11%,the dimensional change rate perpendicular to the production direction is-0.15%,the dimensional change rate of the traditional adhesive carpet production direction is-0.13%,and the dimensional change rate perpendicular to the production direction is-0.22%;the wrinkle recovery angle of the latex-free carpet production direction is 156.2°,the wrinkle recovery angle perpendicular to the production direction is 168.4°,the wrinkle recovery angle in the production direction of traditional adhesive-backed carpets is 153.1°,and the wrinkle recovery angle perpendicular to the production direction is 162.7°;the warpage of latex-free carpets is 0.85 mm,and the traditional adhesive-backed carpets The carpet warpage is 1.56 mm;the average wear rate of latex-free carpets is 0.59%,and the average wear rate of traditional adhesive-backed carpets is 0.89%.Latex-free tufted carpets are superior to traditional adhesive-backed tufted carpets in terms of performance.
